If you send Elka the serial number thats on the shock, they can tell you when it was bought and what it was setup for. More than likely if you need it setup different, all they will do is send you different main springs. They only cost $40 bucks a spring. Bump for a good deal!!

So whats the verdict? Are the extreme dunables worth having or not?

I've been running the AC Propegs now for a few years. I beat the ever livin crap out of my bike and the propegs are still in good shape. I would recomend them for sure.

Yep. I didn't space my pegs out though. I just bent the brake lever up in the middle, and then out away from the lockout.

I to used to have the 450 front end.... I switched back to +2+1 arms. Arms that are made for the banshee are far superior to the 450 arms. I wouldn't recomend the 450 front end to anyone. Save your money and buy some Wickeds.

What kind of riding do you do? I would start working on suspension after you get the timing plate. I never really saw a reason to spend a ton of money on reeds, especially on a motor like yours. I would buy some nice reeds only when needed and spend that money somewhere else for the time being. Same goes for the cool head. You don't need it right now. You can buy a stock shaved head on ebay for $30 bucks. Depending on what riding you do, get rid of the dynoport and get some good pipes on there!

Yes I've tried that, and no it didn't work. I have tried just about everything to shine old plastics back up and haven't had luck with anything. I've wet sanded from 300grit up to 2000 and tried polishing, waxing etc etc. Save yourself alot of hard work, time and money and buy a new set.

When you say dune edition Elkas, do you mean the entry level shocks without ressi's?
