  1. I know exactly what you mean about the lack of riding areas, I have to trailer anywhere from an hour to two hours to get to any good riding spots. Crazy part about that is, I was reading somewhere awhile back that FL was like the number 3 state for the most atv sales, yet one with the least public recreational riding land. I think California was #1 for sales followed by Texas.
  2. I'll be honest, those all look great! You guys did a really good job on them
  3. $205 bucks! Maybe I should get my stock pipes out of the shed, dust 'em off and put them up for auction!
  4. Probably around 9k. Out the door price of bike (new), financing, mods and bling. No regrets.
  5. What do you mean, "tricks" that can be done without?
  6. lol, it actually is real. I was researching places to get stock crossover tubes and came upon a site that had these. I can't remember which site it was, but I had to copy a pic of it..... I'd never seen anything quite like that!
  7. LoL, now I've seen EVERYTHING! That cracks me up the way the post is whittled perfect to fit the receiver. That Blazer has got a load on it!
  8. Ever seen a rectangular one?
  9. I had some bluing on my Fatty's where they come out of the engine, and had heard about the 0000 wool. I went to Lowes to pick some up, but all they had was the 000. So I got it and used it along with some Turtle wax chrome polish, it cleaned the bluing up nice.... but did dull the finish a little.
  10. lol, yeah I hear you. When you request one here there is a line you have to fill out explaining what it means. That Cali one is nice, but I can imagine the look they'd have on their face reading the meaning!
  11. If they have the Paul Turner signature inscribed on the side of them, they have been ported by them. Probably tuned to the previous owners mods, weight, and riding style in mind. I know they offer performance kits, but the buyers cylinders must be sent in for the portwork. I wasn't aware that PT manufactured cylinders, are you sure they aren't stock jugs?
  12. Thanks, I'd been thinking about doing some polishing but wasn't sure what all tools I'd need. Looks like what your using on that case is working nice!
  13. lol, the guys usually like to joke around when they see boost bottle threads. Like Onesickcrewcab said, they are junk and cause damaging airleaks.
  14. Looking great, man! If you don't mind me asking, what tecnique and polish are you using? Thinking about doing some of that myself.
  15. Your pipe o-rings could possibly be worn/bad, also. Rockymountainatv sells an FMF kit for the Fatty's with springs and o-rings for $9.99.
  16. I appreciate the info, Stroker. I found a website like you described and found one I like. Thanks again, man.
  17. Well I don't drive a mercedes, and I sure as hell ain't no doctor. I just think it'd be cool to let people know I'm a Banshee rider. Besides, I've got all 33 dollars it costs to get it. A doctors salary is not needed.....
  18. It was last year when I was out there last. I know what you mean about the woops, my suspension got a workout in the sandhill area. Have you met the Ranger Al out there? He does photography as a hobby. He took some pics of me riding and e-mailed them to me, real cool guy. My sig pic is made from one of the pictures. I'd like to go back up there soon, maybe some of us can meet up there sometime for a ride.
  19. Yeah they definitely look different than the ones I've been getting. More plain, and a dark yellow color. Thanks Stroker, I'll check into that. Pretty sure I won't find an available one, though. T_Shee, I'll never know if that's available or not. lol
  20. Just got back from the tag agency from renewing my stickers. While I was there I attempted to get a personalized plate for my truck that was Banshee oriented..... YEAH RIGHT! She checked on the computer and EVERYTHING I could think of was already taken. Oh well, I guess there are alot of Banshee riders in this state! lol Sure would have been cool, though.
  21. You shouldn't need to change your jetting with the compression increase, but it wouldn't hurt to do a plugchop afterwards just to be sure. And a Nosshead is an excellant choice, I'm very happy with mine.
  22. Just got home a little while ago, I started my day at 2:30 this morning. I'm glad it's Friday!
  23. What is the fee at Big Scrub, now? I know the fee at Croom is $50, but pro-rated for what part of the year it is. (unless that has changed recently)
  24. Yamalube sae 10W-30, no probs here
  25. Compression is changed with aftermarket heads with different sized domes, or shaved stock heads. The smaller the domes, the higher the compression. A motor with no internal mods done or headwork would be considered stock compression readings.
