  1. SWEET! That thing must do at least 220 in sixth!
  2. BUSTED!!
  3. lol, that's pretty good!
  4. Yeah your right, pretty sure that's the same bike I saw an article about in Dirtwheels about a year or two back. I remember them talking about it being extremely fast. It's definitely one nice bike..
  5. Just deleted the one I got...
  6. I also have a sub to Quad magazine. Have you noticed that lately they are getting thinner and thinner? The posters haven't been in them for a while, either. I have a sub to Dirtwheels, too. Both are pretty decent reading material....
  7. Yes, the set was about $40 dollars cheaper than at RMATV... even with the shipping added. Not knocking RMATV though, I do a lot of shopping with them and they do have awesome prices and customer service. Just YOT has REALLY good deals on tire/rim combos.
  8. Nice
  9. Yes, I've been out to Croom five or six times. It's been about two years since I was out there last, but I'd like to get back up that way soon. That place is a blast to ride!
  10. Thanks for the info, guys. I was starting to get a little worried there for a minute, lol. I'll give it another day or so to call back for the numbers. Guess I'm just used to RMATV, they're pretty good with shipping out fast and quick delivery. Yamaha of Troy does have good prices, that tire wheel combo was definitely the best deal I could find on that particular set.
  11. I ordered a set of tires and wheels off ebay last Sunday, the listing said to allow 2-3 business days and to call them for a tracking number. I called yesterday and the guy asked me if I had just ordered them, I said no, last Sunday. He said to call back tomorrow (today) because he wasn't seeing a tracking number. I just got off the phone with a woman from there, she told me to call back tomorrow again because both people from customer service are out today. WTF? They keep bringing up the 2-3 day wait as if I'm calling too early, but I did a big money transaction 5 days ago and haven't even got a tracking number yet. I'm getting the feeling that my tires haven't even shipped out yet.... This is the first time I've done business with them. Maybe I'm just being a little too anxious and over reacting,... is this a normal occurance with Yamaha of Troy?
  12. Welcome to the HQ, man.
  13. Welcome to the HQ, yamaha rider. Congrats on the Banshee, they are definitley fun machines! People have a lot of different opinions on engine break-in, from certain heat cycles, to going strictly by the owners manual. I ran mine easy for about 4 or 5 tanks of fuel. Ran it at half throttle or less for a tank or two, then three quarter throttle or less for another couple of tanks. (ocasionally wide open bursts, but not holding it wide open for more than a couple of seconds) Also varying the throttle up and down, not keeping it at a constant rpm for too long. After that I let it rip..
  14. Welcome to the HQ man, and congrats on the new Banshee.
  15. robert0762, you can also raise your compression with a coolhead or by shaving your stock one. Gives more power down low to help out in the trails.
  16. +1, that's definitely not a Banshee shifter..
  17. Sorry to hear about you getting laid off, lastnline. There seems to be a lot of that going on, lately. My job laid off a bunch of employees a couple months ago, I was fortunate to keep mine, but the way the economy is going I'm still nervous about it.
  18. Thanks for the input, guys. I think I will go with the polished ones.
  19. I'm about to buy a tire/rim combo, but can't decide which I should get. I think the black rims would look really good on my Banshee, but kinda worried about gravel and small rocks scratching them all up. I've never had them before so I don't know how easy they scratch. Looking for some opinions, black or polished?
  20. I loaded a vid on there that I had taken with my camera and it took forever (it was only a minute and a half long vid). That's the only one I have done on it, so I don't know for sure.... but it'll probably finish after a while.
  21. Thanks guys! I'm looking at tire/wheel combo packages and wanting to make sure I get the rim sizes the same or very close to what I'm used to. I appreciate the help.
  22. Does anyone know the rim dimensions of stock Banshee wheels? Are the fronts 10x5 and the rears 9x9?
  23. jamebo

    No way?

Angel ripper, the billet stator covers do weigh more than the stock ones... but the weight difference can be easily balanced out by simply removing the front bumper. Sorry man, I couldn't resist! lol
  24. If these things sell for close to the asking price, I'm going to dig mine out of the shed! http://orlando.craigslist.org/rvs/1024666467.html
  25. I was just thinking the same thing.
