  2. Now it's time to go out and get it dirty! Start beating on it and modding it. That's where all the fun is at.
  3. Throttle Over Ride System. Do a search. Plenty of threads. As long as you cut it all out you are fine.
  4. It's only needed in higher horsepower bikes, and is a big hit for drag racing. Basically it puts extra pressure on your clutch pack and keeps it tight together almost instantly when you get off of the clutch. There is not a lot of slipping going on if any at all. I like to be able to slip my clutch personally, but may go to a lockup when I get my new motor together.

  6. Have somebody go get you a 5 gallon bucket of A-I-R. Say it fast enough so they don't realize what you said.
  7. Nice bike. I would hate to clean it cause god knows I won't be able to let it sit and look at it.
  8. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not sure of many other ways to do it. Either paint them or buy some. I guess you could always cover the plastics in electrical tape.
  9. haha that is too good. lol good laugh
  10. $200? God I hope not. Business will be booming but damn I won't even be able to make the 30 minute drive to the dunes here if fuel is back up to $4-5. The price will rise again but if it keeps going up and down as drastically as it has the bottom is going to really fall out at some point and shit will hit the fan worse than it has right now. Can't last forever like that.
  11. No shit. In the last 3 months all I've done at work is stack rigs. I think we've only moved and rigged up 2. Slow. Hopefully we get them out of the grass come april-may. I need banshee money!
  12. Watch out the price police are out. Way to point out shit that he already mentioned above. Never know, he may have sold it all for that price already. This thread is over 3 months old.
  13. I seemed to get around the dunes no problem on my stock stroke cub......It's just the clutches I would go through climbing hills trying to keep it on the pipe. As far as duning though it worked great. I am getting a cheetah now though so maybe it wasn't the best thing, but more power never hurts either.
  14. I've seen them done. It doesn't look too bad but I would just go with powder or paint. Unless you plan on thrashing the hell out of it and need the protection from the liner I wouldn't do it.
  15. Grimm I think that the harsh parts of that post were directed at Bigred (namely the first half of it). I thought he was nice to you lol. Damned internet. I know you can talk to Jeff in PM's and email too and get what you want/need. Just another way to get in contact.
  16. Thanks for the a-arms. Nice easy transaction. Arms showed up as they were described.
  17. Thanks for the clutch. Nice easy transaction.
  18. I had a stock stroke cub that on the first run up the hill after some break in blew the head off. I put it back together that day with new studs and o-rings and it stayed together and ran great for 2 seasons. Only came apart now to go bigger. Like loco said just use quality oils and keep up on your maintenance and jetting and it should stay together. Nothing can be guaranteed though.
  19. Dang I didn't realize your dunes were that small. I figured you had a few thousand acres ORV at least. I thought Killpecker was small, its only 15,000 acres of ORV and just under 40,000 acres total dunes. Plus I have to put up with a 30 minute drive north of town to get there. C'mon that is too far to drive!
  20. Watch Ebay. I got mine for 80 shipped with built in crossover tube.
  21. True. I went from stock to a stock stroke cub now to a 4 mil 485 cheetah currently being built. Still want a 10 mil just not the right time for it yet. I know I'll want more power.
  22. Interested in a-arms if you still have them. PM sent.
  23. Yup, start with a fiber, end with a fiber. 7 fibers 6 steels.
  24. can I get pics of the clutch setup to [email protected]
  25. PSHH.....I haven't even ported yet. I just like those CP Industries cylinders....... Definitely get a port job bro, you'll love it and as Kevin said they can port them to get the power where you want it and to compliment your pipes. I'm even holding on to my stock cylinders to get them ported someday and build myself another motor. Gotta have a spare right?
