  1. Almost forgot...$3000.00 obo for the forum...
  2. 1998 Yamaha YFZ350 Banshee First things first, this has no title...buyer will get bill of sale. This is the one your mother warned you about....lol ok maybe not but its a good machine. Upgrades include: Toomey t-5 pipes V force reeds Boost Bottle YFZ450 front end and shocks (widers is better and more travel too) Many small things Oh yea and new pro peg nerfs... If you want to see a video of this thing running and driving this was taken 3-15-2009 Way too fast for the wife...says get a 4 stroke??? The only negatives are it has stock carbs...anyone who knows these machines knows that the carbs are cantakerous, and its hard to start and hard to keep idle right...a good mechanic could adjust this out i bet... The new front tires in the pictures you do not get...I have a set of used ones that are about 25% tread...I need the new ones...the old ones hold air and will ride fine...(see the last photo) This is located near Mattoon IL 61938...can be shipped most anywhere in the 48 for $450.00...to your door ready to ride...call Matt (217)-460-0619 [email protected]
  3. Got them...thanks guys...I ended up taking the lines off the distribution block and letting them run, then re-attached...and bled them...works now...finnaly!!!
  4. How do I get that little vacuum hose on the end of the banjo fitting? Once I do get it...how does the line not collapse around the banjo, making the suction impossible? Thank you
  5. Ok, I put a yfz450 front end on my shee, whole thing rotos spindles calipers ect. I hooked the new calipers up to my shee lines...I put in speed bleeders. I filled the front master cylinder with fluid, started to squeeze it to bleed the brakes, nothing is happening, fluid is not moving...nothing. So I order a rebuild kit for the master cylinder...rebuilty it today, its doing the same thing, no fluid going anywhere...what do I do, man i am frustrated...help...
  6. Guys are using the banshee spindles, but the 450 spindles and calipers are far superior on braking...
  7. Here is the finished product...I used the 450 spindles, everything, down to the brake line being secured like the 450...but yes I had to flip the top arms side to side for this to work...the brake lines on the 450 are behind the shock... Spacers...
  8. I am located in central Illinois, looking to possibly trade the banshee for a clean YFZ450. I will post pictures soon. I am currently installing 450 A-Arms, and suspension on it. It also has 2 into one manifold, lectron 40mm carb Toomey T-5 pipes silencers V force reeds and cage Boost Bottle K&N filter Pro-peg nerfs New top end 20 hours ago It is yellow and gray in color... [email protected]
  9. Yea, I know a used set on eBay is $300.00, looking for a used set of 8 inche wheels and tires for my little ATC 70 Three Wheeler... [email protected]
  10. I am just loking for a set of used 10" wheels and good 20" x 12" tires for my 1998 Banshee. I am also looking for a set of +1 or 2 rear wheel spacers, nothing fancy...I like realtors or any tire with a square profile... [email protected]
  11. Thanks for all the help guys...still I just am not sure about having to flip the top arm side to side...I emailed him for some rods...
  12. I know there are threads on this...but I am looking to see what the general concensus is after install? I am halfway through putting a complete 450 front end on my banshee, arms, spindles, shocks, brakes...whole thing. I also want to point out what no one has mentioned up to this point...to pull this off, you have to pop the upper arm off the spindles and switch them side to side for the shock to clear...I am not sure this doesnt defeat the geometrical purpose. I also need to find someone to reasonably make me a set of tie rods that are +1" over the stock 450 set, they just dont have enough of the threads hanging on for my liking...anyone know anybody that makes these?
  13. I started today bolting up 2004 yfz arm, spindles, calipers, and shocks to my 1998 Banshee. Got one side done, need to make my spacers for the other side, looks like its all gonna be good. I do have some concerns, first, I got a little crazy with the cut off wheel and got into one of the welds a little, (kinda trimmed the top off of it) Second, the tie rods seem short, anyone figure out who is making the rods to order now? I will post pictures, as well as the place I got into the weld, I hit it with a belt sander to see if I could see a color change, looks like there is still good penetration so should be ok I think....
  14. Just a quick one, the TORS units, what does TORS stand for, I assume its an acronym? Also if eliminated, what do you do with the wires hanging out of them? Mine are plugged into a harness under the tank? What are they like encoder wires or something? Thanks
  15. I have a complete rear end, bolted together, ready to bolt to your frame off a 2004 Yamaha 450. It does not include the hubs, I need them for my banshee. Price $350.00 shipped to your door. Its all in great shape. [email protected] This is Banshee related? I guess guys are using 450 parts on thier banshee's.
