  1. Fast has a few sets ready to go
  2. Wsm forged race pistons are my pistons of choice I beleive they are 15g lighter than wiseco
  3. Wsm and wiseco forged have same profile
  4. You stated it had spark , only 2 things left compression and fuel thats why I said compression test, due you test it after u built it to know starting point.
  5. Did you do a leakdown test 60 pilot is close to what my drag ported alky bike runs
  6. What needle do you have in the carbs, did you check compression , that sounds lean for a drag ported cub close to sea level , I would check compression that will let you know if you burnt it down
  7. I have found with those carbs needles makee a huge diffrence it it has the silver needle with no markings ditch it and get n68a for stockish motors jjh for modified , if it sounds like its going on a 2 step or ignition break up on top swap coil and sometimes they test good but still are not. Flat bottom can be needle selection jets dont sound that far off with proper needle
  8. Well I have found 33 pwks like a little bigger main compared to there bigger counterparts, do yourself a favor b4 you blow it up stop trying to clear it out that lean if your at sea level leave the 50 pilot move the needle to 4th spot frm blunt end put a 175 main in there and work down from there get 175, down to 165 a duneported 4mil I just built chopped perfect with snipers pods 170 main with t-5 it came in at 165 all on race gas. My biggest concern with your statements is not knowing compression and domes sizeyou could be putting pump in s race gas motor and hurting it thinking its lean. Imo order an oring kit take head off check piston type and size dome size and measure your ex and transf port heights with a anolog caliper in mm because your static compression numbers could be down from porting or worn rings but engine might require something totally diffrent in fuel type
  9. Get a hot rods crank nothing else!!! A word of advise unless your talking to a banshee specific builder to handle machine work and build you will have problems I've seen more than one come through my door from a local shop that was terrible a whole bunch of parts off eBay slammed together. Pick one guy to get everything from do it once do it rite, you can go broke saving money
  10. Now if only u could fight to bring drag racing anywhere close to me , street is it !!! Im def joining . Most drag racing cicrcles are diffrent but I have also seen more than one person almost get shot over stupidness , moderation is a must
  11. If you dont care air chisel with blunt tip is quickest , violent shit
  12. I have some nice blind bearing tools with slide hammer attachments that work killer 90% survival rate on bearings if they are still good
  13. I would have bought them
  14. Upgrading a good idea but I would go with a 33 pwk over 34 pj too many problems with the pj design
  15. #98 spring from ace hardware if its a dunable ,
  16. I would have kept leak down testing that pig till I got to bottom of it would hate to see u have same issue,
  17. Give some measurements from deck to top of port and I can let you know if it's doable picks help also
  18. Never too early its 12 somewhere, this is what I do while waiting for my slow ass kids to get ready for school so I can drive them, troll the site
  19. My comp was acting up on me b4 what I was trying to get at is if your ordering a 90 tool check out cc specialties. This is the best equipment for small engine porting I have ever put to metal , game changer ! Air tools will ripple aluminum more then cc set up , motor has rev on it so u can use left handed bit in tight transf areas to prevent chatter
  20. I do something similar to a pro mod tranny and they shift fine, I feel they could benefit alot of bike from trail to dune. I can pull my clutch lever with my pinky
  21. I beg to differ on the crank , ha e seen plenty fail and come outta tru all with hjr builds. Im not a guy that has one she and maybe rebuilds it once every two yrs I see a ton of she motors a yr . I
  22. WHat kind of tools are u using
  23. Did you do exhaust yet? Those tunnels need some opening up biggest choke point is rite there make sure bottom side is bigger than port entries and you will retain velocity I stagger my transfers on non drag apllications , I have felt big differences in throttle responce and roll on
  24. How did you hold the o rings in place during install if you didnt use grease? If u didnt use something to secure o rings I would think u pinched something
