  1. My sons viper jr has a homemade pipe on it came off a go ped and I cut the flange spun it tig welded back together, a port job new piston and a pwk it really woke up that stock carb has terrible circuitry
  2. Whoops didnt read your post close enouph on 4mil rite piston combo,25.90 is 201 degrees , but I agree unless you degree set up assembled it varies, I always port damn close to where I need then bore , then finish work
  3. Calcs are wrong long rod pistons compensate by moving pin so duration will be relatively close
  4. Is this a cheetah? All cylinders will have some sort of casting plug near where your leak is either pull the plugs clean very good whole cylinder in hot soapy water , blow dry , coat cylinder sleeves in lubricant coat water jacket plugs in threebond 1211 install , let dry for 24 hrs b4 putting fluid back in.
  5. I ran 6.80 4mil stock cyl also geared for 1/4 set up for 1/4 just has both times on slip.
  6. There all loose but theres a fine line, fast racing has them ive ordered new from him a few times cheap part in the grand scheme
  7. I have worked on 100s of bike cdi is very rarely the issue , once in 10 yrs
  8. First you would need a true stand to check bend on rod I have found quite a few out of wack. Without me personally hearing noise hard to tell
  9. The clutch push rod and ball are notorious noise makers, along with the pancake bearing. I have noticed noise on many builds due to this. Its not ultra common but ball and rod are wear items and if rod is out of true it will give you diffrent noises when engaging lever or not due to the fact its boucing around inside tranny shaft. Also look at stock throw out bearing or pancake bearing outer lip where it slides into tranny shaft they wobble a bit when worn, all parts can be changed without splitting her open
  10. 20 /8/10 american racer sd23 compound, I run 1/4 so gearing im not gonna be able to help much I know im almost tapped in 5th when I hit 1/8 just about to shift 6th , some clutch tuning to get 60ft down will let you carry the gear you have. That first 60ft dictates the whole run
  11. Mig or tig cant see that close, great job as long as you didnt fill any huge gaps all pipe was tight you should be fine
  12. Just as stated customer of mine looking for a used 10 mil top end cub prefferably but open to options condition no biggie it will get nikked after porting
  13. Your boy is an idiot lol, 1.4 is a respectable hard number to acheive if that is the case something is off tuning or gearing wise clutch wise you should have ran alot faster with that 60ft , u have an overide?
  14. If its just bored out with new pistons should be no diffrent from old set up unless your changing pipes air box etc more info will help

If you really want one use one off the go karts most drag guys use em in conjugation with a launch limiter
  16. Thats what I was thinking lol, 4 mil drag ported stock cyl will get you close, gonna need an overide, lockup to be consistant, you really need to te a r it down to see whats inside. It might be cheaper to buy a bike alrwady set , a customer of mine just spent 6g taking his basically stock and ready to run 1/8
  17. Good luck with the shop im trying to work out my own venture rite now, there is no-one in my area that knows there ass from there elbow on performance shit, I have been porting and setting up two strokes for many years . If you dont mind pm your number I woild love to go over the logistics of the business. Its nice to see a new guy making there way
  18. Sub frame is a the easiest thing on that bike to make.just make one 50 $ in tubing
  19. It takes time people! Especially when its not your only project, every time I went to work on wackos 8hrs would fly by with little accomplished butthats why custom is so exspensive
  20. Do they do drags there, my boy was telling me they did? If so would I just need ice screws or something else
