  1. I have had very few ever go bad allways something else, coil is suspect if its not oem
  2. Take some , measurements if you pull the head alot can be told with some hard numbers, measure from top of barrel to top of port (all ports). I can give some input if I know numbers and port shapes I have seen 196* port duration motors run like turds because the time/area was off and blow down was terrible, as skeeter said domes play a huge roll but most site sponsors on here have real good cuts they have been using for years . Smooth isnt allways better, and clean doesnt allways mean its fast
  3. Yes that looks terrible
  4. I hope your not talking about me hiding behind a keyboard, I offered real info on degreeing and im prob rite with your pipes and port work not being up to snuff, or the tuning is off . I dont have one banshee and talk out my I have built 100s of motors tuned more than that, I also have seen ported bikes with those pipes pick up 15hp from diffrent pipes and jetting. In closing ill give u my address if you feel im hiding
  5. I do 2 heat cycles with temp gun letting engine get to about 140-150 deg , then ride it not staying wide open longer then 2 secs in each gear , I encourage you to get on the pipe and ride it also decell to break in rings
  6. Ditch those pipes and it wont feel like a blaster, without seeing and degreeing your port work piper could have given u the pipe or was smoking it. You can go broke saving money . Nothing is cheap and unless you have understanding of a 2 stroke motor , how to jet and read plugs there is gonna be a serious learning curve. If its a trail bike your already ported, piped should be fine if its slow porting or tuning is fucked up
  7. Electrical maybe? Or when u put domes in u crunched a o ring, even tho leak down passed have seen this issue.. you should be able to get it to the pipe and scream top end with a 155 main might be a lil off either way but still should run . I have jetted plenty of air strykers with no problem although I do favor reg pwk
  8. My local guy stuck them rite on his road force balancer , put a lil pressure on em, checked rim runout . He had to use a bunch of diffrent spacers to get er sitting rite but worked great, as soon as it stops raining here ill report back
  9. I should have given to u when u expressed interest but am looking to build 7 mil stock cyl or 10 mil stock cyl so it's a little easier to get races
  10. I'm with 2stroke love most around my end up between 162-165 main 48 pilot with force 3s so you might a bigger pilot ,drag ported bikes seem to like the d series needle 4th clip un ported likes the cel
  11. U need a banshee guy for help you have 1000 variables and no clue, you need to pressure test that motor , compression test, squish test. Without the tools to do do so its not gonna fix itself and its not gonna clear out. Either invest in tools and do some research on hear or your gonna blow this one up too
  12. Its also set up for small bore small flange shearer
  13. This is set up for a 115 rod 10mil crank , set up was assembled degreed and never started on this bore , pistons are brand new two sets of domes, alky, race gas, im trying to go a new route , no body wants to race a big block of aluminum turns out lol
  14. Port timings to help, pilot should be around 45 , main start with 172 , cel 4th clip, .most important thing is a pressure test on that motor so u dont melt it down.there are people on this site that sell them or u can make ur own. Then u need to be sure you have solid grounds on your electrical system and yout plug caps ohm out correctly. More times than not people bring t here bike to tune and its not a jet problem at all its either an air leak or electrical so b4 you chase your tail jetting get that out of the way
  15. Wow I never even thought of that im pretty sure I could do that in house
  16. Unless you can degree the motor yourself and take critical measurements dont fuck with it is there something wrong with it that u wanna change besides compression why throw parts at it if its ported for the bore already
  17. And rob I know you had the best intent on the post , I was just saying I wish I had one
  18. Wasnt saying it was bad I really wish I had one , and yes it would be a usefull tool to me. On the other hand my motors have beatin the piss out of motors with a Nice dyno numbers and tune
  19. I wish I had a dyno , seems like all people care about is graphs .
  20. Wilburn or schnitz controller will take care of all ur timing needs, u could probably program a dyna to do something similar I just have no experience with it
  21. Not a big fan of trailtechs shit, some of the others not so bad
  22. Def not my first choice of sizes but tires were bought off a part out at a killer price I would of liked 19/8/10 but is what it is
  23. Thnks again for all responses
