Well usually u drill carbs to a particular set up not motor to carb so hopefully u don't get screwed by carbs too big for your engine, porting , domes, timing, pipes all come into play , I would send them to fast racing and have them inspected and measured
-
Wasn't a big deal I can wait, I'm going from a chip style launch limiter to one built in to the Dyna , wanted some input thnx for heads up Juan
-
I have installed a number of those there ok mostly good for temp reading , speedo worked , rpm guage not so much, if u don't mind bulky digitron for karts are reliable units
-
Sty I have been trying to pm you not sure if it's my phone or what, I'm setting up my launch limiter and need some input
-
That's fucked up , that's some fighting words rite there. I made my own puller with a couple of plates and a steering wheel puller while I was in a pinch . IMO every bearing needs to pulled from cases with a blind bearing tool so u don't destroy them clean them really good and roll in hands slow to feel for notchy shit. Before you oil them take a magnifying glass inspect everything for niks. If you have access to a true stand you can check bearing runout also

I like the electronics buddy , that's the heart rite there

I run alky pwks gravity fed in the 1/4 with no issue , oversized bowls , one float cut off, .1225 dumps and mains ,4 mil small motor, a few little other mods to the pilot circuit and power jet dump is also drilled but can't remember size

I have been ripped on here before , IMO I'm ok with the cylinders even tho some might not have felt the same way loosing a bore or two I have gotten a lil more calm in my old age and chalked it up to maturity. Hell about 8 yrs ago I was ready to drive to Kansas and personally rip my cylinders from Jeff's hands because he had them too long for my liking, turned out to be the best running stock cylinder I ever threw my leg over for what it was. Lesson learned

I don't know how far off shee fast is. I had my own little dealing wth stroked about a set of stock cylinders. I got a lil bit of a run around on a tracking # , but realized I was dealing with a kid as soon as he was giving me school excuses and decided to give him some leeway after he sent me tracking I realized it was from Canada so I wasn't suprised when it took 3wks to get my cylinders. . I was suprised when I started porting cylinders and taking measurements . They were not the promised 64 mm bore they were I fact really worn 64.50 . I'm building this motor for a customer and he didn't care so I don't other wise I wouldn't have touched them . I think stroked out needs to realize sellers responsibility and mature alil and shee fast realize nothing is quick in life although I understand your frustration. I didn't really chime in or bother saying anything because I could care less but I wouldn't get all over shee fast till you try your own communication with seller

I'm not confident enouph yet to offer out services on cranks yet , let me guinea pig my boys and myself first , , tricked I would love to do it full time but I'm a local3 electrician with a little over 15 yrs in I can't throw that away plus health beni and retirement I'm ok with that. One day maybe I'll take the plunge. I'm busy as fuck as it is with motor work . Around by me a shop would be at least 6 g a month rent , I couldn't compete with prices some of these other builders throw out knowing time incolved . As soon as I'm up to par on crank assemblies you guys will be first to know

Electrical issue compounded by 26:1 fuel ratio it's prob not burning the fuel properly

I recently bought centering press blocks for phasing two n three cylinder cranks I'm waiting on extra cash for a press set up , bought the tooling off a second hand jet ski shop owner for 50 buck he had no idea how much was invested in the set up originally, I know the original owner who passed away and designed tooling , diffrent size collars for diffrent pin sizes I can do a lot with it . My good friend used to build all his cranks so now I need a lesson on crank building and need to find press shims to account for side play on rods. He has a sun in boring bar also that hasn't been touched since my friend died, I'm waiting for another crack binge of his to scoop it up
