  1. Like most others here, I only choke my left carb Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  2. When I talked to kevin its what he recommended. we even spoke after the engine was together and he had my compression numbers. Its not truly 50/50 now that I think back. its 2 gallons 110 and 3 gallons 93
  3. My bike currently has fmf sst's on it, I came across PC platinums at a really good price so I picked them up and they come in tomorrow. So tonight i'm going to pull my pipes, and carbs to do a leak down while i'm there. while I have the carbs off I was going to go over my jetting for the difference in pipes. I have a HJR ported 4 mil, 23cc domes. about 150 psi compression at sea level running 50/50 110 and 93 at 32:1 +4 timing, 35mm PWK's with CEL needles and K&Ns current jetting is 50 pilot and 152 mains with the needle clip on the 5th notch. I know my needle shouldn't be that rich but after all the carb tuning I did on this thing and I had a bog just off idle I could not get rid of without going farther on the needle. Anyways, any suggestions for main jets after the pipe swap?
  4. Op, are you in Richmond VA? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  5. I have an HJR ported engine, and as soon as I get time to haul it to surfrjag that's what I'm going to do. I've been nothing but disappointed since I built the engine. Replacing the crank he sold me with a HR made it significantly better but im still convinced she's missing something
  6. I will check them when I get some free time. I also have my needle clip in the no5 spot (cel needles) it had an off idle bog and that's the only way I could get rid of it. I thought about maybe going to a 55 pilot to see if that helped any Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  7. I think it needs to go to Surf for a dyno run and a once over before I do anything. In all honesty I believe I need to find another set of cylinders and let someone else start over
  8. My Shee is a HJR hardcore MX ported 4 mil, Noss cool head and 23cc domes, 150 psi. chariot reed cages, chariot intakes with 35mm PWKs, +4 timing. I currently have FMF SST pipes and SST power core 2's on it. Pipes were bought before it had any motor work done. Now I find that it's somewhat difficult to ride in the woods and trails. The power comes on late, and it has crazy top end pull but it lacks on the bottom hard. I find myself constantly having to clutch in, rev and then clutch out to get back in the power again. I have geared up which has helped a lot but it still seems a little disappointing. 85% of my riding is woods and trails. The other 15% is WFO drag racing for fun which really shows my lack of bottom end power. Any thoughts? I've been considering PC's
  9. I vote for just tearing it down. Something has gone wrong. Too hard to take guesses at problems like this Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  10. looks sick. The more of these I see built the more it makes we want to build one
  11. That whole page is full on retarded. I'm still on there for the lulz. I've picked up some good parts though
  12. Also, why do you think the clutch has gone out? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
