I have a rigid chassis im building for a 421 cub, what wheel base woul you guys recomend, how far out back/front.I need to start welding this weekend but would like some opinions of what works as far as weight transfer is concerned, thanks. This is going to be a bike for 300ft dirt but I cant say its not going to see pavement, how long are you guys running your wheelie bars on dirt
No offense to anyone those jetting specs for stock porting sounds way rich,I was thinking with the lid on 260 in the winter 240 in the summer just been my experiance with these pipes
An aggressive dune drag can run all the way up to 420s on the main, you need to find out the durations of your porting so you know what your dealing with one mans porting is diffrent from anothers
I run .oo3 on wisecos, look on the package check ring gap,but there is a reason that skirt cracked, out of round cylinder, collapsed skirt from piston cocking in bore,I would pull it down again find some one with a bore guage and check it good
No worries bro 1-4 5th 6th clutch incase you want your 6th gear nuetral stock position,Extreme dunable .If it breaks in the weather ill dust my bike off and you can give it a try ,well going to work now
Cutting the skirt on the intake side increases the duration of intake open period, unless you have a bg stroke or porting thaT calls for it you could hurt performance
I had a 4mil trail bike that was 66mm ported and beatin for three years with no problems, maintaining only things that broke while riding, keep in mind if you do go bigger than .080 over(66mm) the domes need to be cut if your running a cool head
With those duration with that pipe on a tight motor,no leaks you should be at a 320 main,27.5 pilot needle one notch on the lean side.Ohm out your plug caps, coil, stator
I agree with loco,I have never jetted 28s but I have jetted 30s like yours drop the pilot, start at a 300 main with no port work,if you have a problem finding pilots let me know ,when i was jetting these carbs I bought jets by the six pack from sudco ill hook you up for shipping
