I have several banshees but my dune bike is green and white known as (TURTLE). It is swung 6" with a stock crank and standard cylinders with nitrous and is the second fastest in this part of the state.

  10. the 34's will do just fine. you may have to run a smaller main and/or go up on your timing. you should be able to advance your timing between 7 and 10 degrees. this should compensate for the spongieness on the bottom side and the carbs will take care of the top side.
  11. I wish i would have invented the boost bottle. that is the biggest, get rich gimmick in the world. I refuse to build a bike with a boost bottle. they are ugly and get in the way of everything.
  12. if the carbs are clean and everything is where it is supposed to be, and jet sizing is right, you might need to adjust your air/fuel mixture screws. I would start at about a turn and a half.
  13. Not that my opinion counts for anything, but if you are looking for a little bit of power without breaking the bank and paying someone to port your motor and spend all kinds of money on cranks, stroker pistons, cut domes , and etc. I would highly suggest (since this is your first banshee) getting a set of vito's superstock pistons with a fresh bore, a shaved head, or aftermarket with a set of 19 or 20cc domes, and a good set of pipes like shearer, cpi, or rockets. Those little motors are reliable, fun as hell to play on, and pretty strong for what they are. There is definetly nothing wrong with going the 4mil route if you have the money, but if money is tight, i guarantee you will be satisfied with this setup, especially for your very first build.
