  1. I think the HondaBond is a little thicker, more firm, or whatever you would call it.
  2. I was going to say HondaBond, but if you cannot get Yamabond, you probably will not be able to get it as well. :ermm: If you can find it, HondaBond is better than YamaBond.
  3. It will shift very smoothly with those three components. Best $$$ you will spend... The shift adjust bolt, nut, and lock washer are cheap, and it is nice to just put new stuff in there. The same with the clutch basket lock washer, cheap enough to just replace. You should be able to search and find the information on squish clearance...
  4. When riding in snow, run them in the rotation direction on the tire (not scooping), and for sand, just turn them around and so the paddles scoop like a sand tire.
  5. HondaBond modeling clay or solder to test squish red and blue locktite New: shift adjust bolt, nut, and lock washer clutch basket lock washer Also: modified shift star F.A.S.T. shift shaft Trinity shift drum Pro Design billet impeller clutch pancake bearing
  6. I run the F.A.S.T. knock-offs and they are just as good as the K&N filters.
  7. The Noss head comes with excellent customer service. I purchased my head two years ago, and I know David will take time to answer questions about his product any time. Hell, last time I called him, seems like we talked about old school bikes for thirty minutes or more! You will not be disappointed with a Noss Machine head. I agree, site sponsors should get the business!
  8. This is only a hobby for me, but I have been around long enough to believe that is a valid point...
  9. Call Noss Machine, talk to David Noss and order a Noss head and domes. You will not be disappointed with the product and customer service.
  10. My vote is Pro-Wedge II. They are basically the same as 4-Snow, but I am old school and prefer the PWII. F.A.S.T. sells them...
  11. I think the PWKs are a good choice as well.
  12. Well, I bought a couple things from Trinity within the last year and they were actually pretty good to me. Both parts were excellent, and they also called me two or three times to make sure I was happy (and the parts I bought from them were nothing special or expensive like a cheetah). The parts shipped immediately...
  13. A new inner clutch hub is $30.00, just buy a new one... inner clutch hub
  14. I agree, if you can get them that cheap, buy them and use them, sell them, or hang them on the wall and look at them. You cannot pass on that price! They are about a grand from Duncan...
  15. It is going to be a small frame... :yelrotflmao:
  16. AZCUSTOMQUADS
  17. I tend to agree Tim, CDIs usually work or completely fail... :ermm:
  18. Well, that may be a solution, for excessive heat in the combustion chamber can cause detonation.
  19. http://www.cascadeinnovation.com/ Round Three, ding...ding...
  20. Well, I would suspect the CDI as well. It sure sounds like everything else is in order. At that elevation, 19cc domes and +4 timing should be no problem... I am curious to hear what is causing the problem if it is not the CDI...
  21. I would say you are correct, not many ATC380Rs, LOL... Post some pictures some day, I would like to see it.
  22. There is no doubt that the 450s have replaced them. I think a good number of ATC250Rs and TRX250Rs have become hangar queens...
  23. I wouldn't quite compare it to a 300EX, but I get your point... It really depends on this: If you like 250Rs, and you want one, the '88 250R is a very desirable model year. If you are just looking for another bike, buy the one that fits whatever it is you want to do with a new bike or just take the best deal... Two very different bikes, that is for sure. I agree, everyone likes different things.
  24. I was referring to the people who buy the raptor-banshee plastic, not the people who buy Maier. Sorry for the confusion...
