  1. me dinner? just a 1.8
  2. track vid http://s240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/?action=view&current=123at111.mp4 Real fun with the new 6 speed. Cant wait for cruisin the coast next month.
  3. I ran some for a while. Got it from FAST. It was nice to use while jetting my carbs. That way i didnt smell pure gas on my hands.
  4. I think you will spin off the line and wont be able to catch up. just my opinion.
  5. Would be awesome if you wrote in better grammar. So you feel the power is there but you cant hook up there for losing? I had that problem. Did what i could to be able to hook up off the line. That and an override was the ticket. What type of terrain are you drag racing on?
  6. I hate my banshee on trails. Id rather a 400ex any day over my banshee if all i did was trails. Sure banshees work on trails, but it's not for me.
  7. Jeff as in FAST jeff? Hell, if you are ordering from him, just ask the man. He will tell you what you need. I trust a good builder far more than forums.
  8. No, you dont need a lockup. fast and RJATV both make a clutch that will hold.
  9. It's a good list but not all is needed. Id personally recommend a dunable n-down 1-5 override and skip other trans mods. I run a slingshot lockup. Cheap and you can fit it under the stock case. I run 3 hd/regular springs. It keeps the clutch pull easy enough for all day riding.
  10. I have 30oko's. Knockoffs of pwk's i believe. Works like a champ. I have zero need to go bigger. And from my videos, you can see they perform great. I cant compare to stock. I did many other mods when the 30's went on. Whoever ported your juggs should be able to tell you how any carb will perform with his port work. Give him a call.
  11. I just used photoshop for mine below. I also won the bansheehq banner contest last year It's all complicated to learn. You have to sit and learn. There's thousands of tutorials out there. Unless you plan to play with computer graphics a lot in the future, it's far more easier to ask someone to make it. The less skilled you are with 2d graphics such as signatures/avatars, the better crappy sigs look IMO.
  12. patience and practice.
  13. I ran 14/41 in the dunes with 12 paddles haulers(i think it's called, i barrowed them). They were too much paddle for my stock swing arm bike. but im 60lbs lighter than you. For riding in the fields behind my house, i always use 15/41. I hope you have a 1-5 dunable override sir.
  14. knarlys with every other row of knobs cut off work nice. However, in rocks, they will spin like no tomorrow.
  15. I had a similar set up with t5's. It was a very fun bike to run. If you do a lot of dunes or top end riding, id recommend a pipe that will pull higher like CPI's. It made a big difference for me.
  16. I agree unless its the shit pipes doing that. And learn to start power shifting. Slipped the clutch to shift and hold it WOT till you let off at the end of the race.
  17. Did you weld the rod to the ball?
  18. Sounds like OP went in the right direction. He talked to a builder, asked him what he needed and had a port job/engine set up made for his riding style and needs. Good job sir. Others can learn this is how you do it. The engine builder should know exactly what his port work will do.
  19. My buddy has FMF fatty's on his banshee before it was ported. Strait up garbage to ride. But that doesnt mean they are bad pipes. They are good pipes. Id like to see some videos of you racing your buddy and you racing by yourself. I want to see how good you are speed shifting, shifting, launching, riding etc. Driver skill is huge on a banshee. Id hate to recommend other mods if the problem is you. And 170psi seems high. Some lower octane race fuel perhaps might bee needed. But if you arent detonating, then i guess you are fine. Compression gauges vary. Mine was at 169.5 and i melted my pistons. As for running a train on that yfz450, not in all cases. There's a lot of variables here.
  20. Port job, traction off the line, and learn to drive your bike. Of course other bolt ons will be nice too. Start reading.
  21. ^ Good. What type did you go with?
  22. I beat the crap out of my duneable. Best money i've spent. Again, thanks Dave! Why not install that override you have laying around. If it STILL messes up, then you can look elsewhere for the problem. Just remember to use the recommended shift star and stock spring on that star. Otherwise it can drop a hear while riding due to vibration. Wheelieking, you ordered that override yet
  23. Not to sound rude but Kevin will be able to best answer this question since it's his work. And power delivery IMO is more important than peak numbers.
  24. Yeah, a new mustang would be too fast for him. Might as well get a slow camaro. yeah i went there
