  1. What's the weight difference between a regular banshee and this?
  2. Yup, there's a reason these guys said to park it. Detonation causes damage very fast.
  3. Clicked on this to get ideas for my new frame...page two scared me for life. Fml
  4. Look into gforce. It's adjustable and was cheaper than durablue years ago when i bought mine. Usnure the price difference now and even if they still make them.
  5. Sev you have to post some videos of your bike to hold me over until mine is done!
  6. practice. There's ghetto folks riding them for miles on youtube on stock bikes. How i learned? I practiced. and cover that rear brake.
  7. I wonder how a high HP banshee dyno chart looks overlayed on a high hp 4 stroke curve. I know TQ is king for them.
  8. I said Redline is getting my jugs for porting. Your testimony is partially why. Will I need billet bowl? I already have a dual pingal or whatever it's called.
  9. The dyno graph posted from a FAST customer in another thread showed loss of power and the bike would be slower. So I need more proof to give then my porting business. The Redline graph was amazing.
  10. Before i call up Redline for pricing for port work, let me make sure i'm not leaving anything out considering i never planned/researched after market jugs. From my research, i see i need this: please correct if i am wrong with a brief explination cub water plugs serval cub jugs pistons(for cub) Cub ARP head studs(10 of them) carbs(depends what builder says) head dome size(depends what builder says) I plan to go through the entire bottom end to check everything especially my shift works/bearings. So stuff like gaskets, orings etc arent on the list because that isnt cub specific. I will inquire with the builder what i need trying to project how much extra OT i have to work to save up for this.
  11. Just thought it over, bike will be 93 octabe pump gas. I refuse to detune drag cylinders(cubs) too.
  12. Edit* didnt see that last post. Holy crap 90's on race fuel!!? I'm not a dyno number person but damn.
  13. Wow, they are making way more than i thought on pump. I'm unsure i will be able to enjoy pump gas. I assume there's better low end and throttle response on race fuel since you can advance the timing. I will have to call Redline and see what they recommend. There's also the vforce 4 reeds i been reading. I'm not worried about jetting. That should be easy.
  14. I am tempted to build a 4mil serval on race gas. Alky/meth isnt an option for me. With that said, who has been getting the best power from a port job from a Serval cub? That includes any shop, not just sponsors. I want to spend my money once and get the most out of it. I will be ordering whatever they recommend for carbs and domes. I see people making low 80's after a port job on low compression and pump gas. I'm unsure if high compression and race fuel is worth it. My mods will be small bore CPIs, long rod 4 mil. I have 19cc domes cut for the stroker crank and i have 30 oko's. I am willing to change my domes and get bigger carbs to compliment the entire engine per engine builders advice. I ride all over in the power band but i do tons of WOT blast so drag ported cheetahs etc are not acceptable. I like the power broad like my old flotek 4mil was. Just more power.
  15. Either you know how to tune a carb or you dont. I thought lately about taking my over ride out, widening the front and throwing knobbies back on. Then i realized that i would be detuning a beast for trails and it will still spin all day will suck. So im looking into a 4mil serval now. So little info on them though
  16. Leak down*
  17. Stop riding and do a lean down test. Leak down test should of been done before you even fired that bike up the first time IMO.
  18. I was wondering why you was granny shifting in the first video. Well done. Lol knobbies. At least that made the race a little closer. Any plans for an over ride trans? I personally have problems beating a 45-50 700/yfz450 when they are lightened and stretched. I can barely walk them but i usually get destroyed out the hole. Good times though!
  19. Is that a yz250 in the honda 450r video that spanks you? If so, what mods done to it. I have one and my banshee destroys it and it doesnt have near your power. I find that odd.
  20. Great videos! poor guys who ride there on knobbies lol. Any pics of your bike as set up in those videos? You seem to just have your average play bike with some good power, not set up for strait line at all. Just like mine
  21. Videos of your raptor?
  22. In the end, it doesnt matter how much if cost to get a certain amount of power. Get the bike you want and enjoy it. I enjoy seeing 700's beat me. They always get my respect.
  23. Tusk makes a nut and bolt kit for about $30. That way when putting the bike back together, you have extra hardware. I went with a stainless steel engine bolt kit when i stroked my engine and installed my over ride.
  24. great post ^ You can also use a small impact gun to instead of buying a clutch holding tool but that can lead to stripping the threads if you get too carried away putting it back on.
