  1. Clean out the rubber boot of the pod filter to get any slick oil out of it, and sand it a little with some sand paper. Make sure you clean out the sanding dust from inside the filter before you put if back on, but just roughen it up a little and make sure there is no slick oil inside the boot and on the carb. That should help if from sliding off.
  2. The a-arms will be the same as the YFZ, if it is an SE raptor he is taking the stuff off of the shocks will be the same as a YFZ as well... If its a regular raptor 700 the shocks will suck, they are not rezzys or anything.
  3. Why not just take the side case off and get it out? It takes about 5 minutes to take the side cover off. Just drain your oil into a clean container so you can reuse it and same with the coolant. Pretty easy stuff.
  4. Chargers!!!
  5. Bump... here is a vid of this bike. Rippen showed me this vid a while back... Sweet Raptor for sale! Loco Raptor Vid
  6. Try rockymountainatv.com they have some cool water pump covers. I got my stator cover from majicmike and I like how it looks better then the modquad or cascade ones you can buy.
  7. Only problem ive ever had a problem with from them was a adj. timing plate. It stripped with no pressure on the bolts at all... Other then that, I have a RS flywheel on my drag bike, RS stator on my wifes bike, and have not had a problem with them. Its hard not to use them because they have good prices on expensive parts. I am not 100% happy with thier products, but I will buy them again.
  8. I have a set of polished rear c-series wheels. $80 shipped.
  9. coolhead, reeds, and porting.
  10. Douglas .125s all the way. They are light and work well. I had C-series and they are heavy as hell. Any time you can cut rotating mass do it. Not to mention douglas wheels are cheaper. However, if you want a set of polished c-series wheels hit me up, Ive got a set of rears ill sell.
  11. Do you have a 660 or 700? My a-arms are stock 700 arms. If you have a 700 and are lean you will need to get a MAP for you mods, or better yet, get to a dyno and make a custom map for you bike. No I dont have a performance shop, if you are looking for a good raptor man, get Jeff at Fast to build you a motor. He builds a MEAN 686 if you have a 660 now.
  12. Any particular reason you chose that paddle tire? Just wondering... Anyway, I would get the 21-12-8 8 paddles. I like the 21s better then 20s. If you want them to go on stock rims you would need to get a different tire that comes in a 9" wheel. If you are duning, look at Skat Trak haulers, in 21-12-8 8 paddles.
  13. They are a tank for sure, but they are fast as hell for a big 4x4. I remember dirt wheels had a deal on the renegade and they said a stock raptor 700 would only put a couple lengths on it.
  14. I just PMed Lee to see what he thought about all this. Cykotik, I am going to come up with a logo very soon, as soon as I get in touch with my bro in law.
  15. The only problem I can see with names and usernames is going to be cost. I would like to have the banshee HQ stuff screen printed on the shirts, and hoodies, and cost would be too high to screen print names on. I would have the skullies and hats done with stitching though. What color shirts and stuff would be preferred? I am like NYUK, black with white printing looks good. Also would you guys want it to say www.bansheehq.com down the sleeves or Banshee HQ like that? Any input you fellas have is great, it will make it easier to get started.
  16. Best advice I can give you for a coolhead is grease the hell out of the o-rings. If you dont grease them they fall off/out and you want to throw it across the garage.
  17. Its fine... Lots of Raptors and YFZs glow at night. Yoshimura makes the pipes thinner to save weight and it glows pretty easily. If you have checked your jetting and it looks ok, its fine.
  18. Ill get in touch with my bro in law and see what he can design up for me. He does that stuff for a living so he will get me a good design made up. I like NYUKs idea, thats about what I was thinking too... Ill get something drummed up this week to get things started. Ill PM Lee to see what his thoughts are on all this as well...
  19. If you dont mind will you give them a quick measure with a tape measure? If they are 22inches tall ill take them and the wheels.
  20. We will need to come up with a design for the fronts of the shirts, hoodies ect... I was thinking on the hoodies, it could say Banshee HQ down the sleeves, then have something on the front or back like the rest of the shirts ect... Ill see if I can come up with an image for the fronts or backs of everything.
  21. Id agree 100% with that. I would NEVER paint a full set, they wobble too much and will crack the paint for sure.
  22. I remember an idea about making a bunch of HQ hats, shirts, beanies, and hoodies a while ago and it kinda died out. Lets try to get something organized. It going to get chilly here soon and I would like some HQ stuff to wear. If anybody knows a good screen printing place lets get something going... If you have ideas about design post em up. Ive got a couple ideas already. Anyway lets get somthing going!
  23. A full override is like mine where you just rip through the gears with no clutch, then clutch and come to a complete stop before you can downshift. A duneable over ride has all the capabilities of a normal tranny and a override. You can shift with or without the clutch, and downshift was well.
  24. smallest ones Ive ever seen are 16s. I run 20s in my bikes.
