That motor you posted would be a pretty potent drag motor. The dune port I am talking about is a Stock cylinder port job, and you add a 4 mil crank. It is more of a "dune" motor then the supercub. It would also cost about 1/4 as much. Go to www.farmandsandtoys.com, get the phone number and call jeff. He will get you hooked up.

Check out alignment, make sure the tie rods are adjusted even on each side, get new tie rod ends, and make sure the steering stem is hitting the stopper. If it isnt bend it back and weld nut or something on there for extra support. Get it fixed thought, thats a good way to bust your ass, i know this from experience.

If you are going to race look at a cub, for a duner look into a 4 mil crank and a dune port from Jeff at FAST. Rippen has that setup and he has a great dune bike. Friggin thing would climb a mountain.

Id like to see someone look in the spark plug hole. How the hell are you gonna get your head, a light and and a magnifying glass in there to look at it? Just do a plug chop.

The piston broke? Like a skirt came off or something? Looks like its going to be time to split the cases and make sure nothing got down in the crank. Then you will need to take the jug to a bore guy and see if a bore will fix it. If not, get a new one, put a fresh top end in the bike, and it may be a good time to upgrade to a coolhead if your head it trashed.

If you do put a new top end I would bore it for the new pistons. Just to take out any scratches or imperfections in the cylinder walls. If you have the extra $$, go ahead and put new pistons in, could save you a headache down the road. About the crank, it should be fine with those mods. My wifes bike ran mods similar to that and the crank was alright. Also, if you dont ride in lots of water, I would just get a couple good pod filters with outerwares. Thats a cheap way to make a little more power.

Is there anything wrong with the top end thats in it? If its not broke, I wouldnt fix it. If you put a new top end in you have to see what bore you are at and get the pistons according to that. Ya know like 30 over 60 over or 90 over....

Just a little hint on shipping... Ive sold several sets of shearers and CPIs and here is what I did. Saran wrap the pipes and silencers, put the pipes between house insulation in a box and send em. So put insulation in the bottom then a pipe, then insulation then a pipe.... it is cheap and the guy who gets the pipes wont be pissed when they get there.
