  1. Thanks for the Props  Im on the Internet end of Buchanan Racing as alot of you know and Im building the site and I will have all of the product and pricing info on there in a few months. It would be sooner but the shop is the bussyest its ever been for both parts and motor work. Mostly the 450s and XC/MX 4 Strokes more 250rs than Banshees. Its XC Season and he also races the AWRCS and builds alot of his competetors motors and hooks them up with parts and Cody Buchanan, Buchanan Racing, wants to hold off untill it slows down some then everything will be official 24/7. By that Time I hope to be a sponcer here and a sponcer on a few of the EX/450R SITES.
  2. Probably Lonestar J Arms. When you buy Lonestar J/A Arms you have to buy Lonestar bushings and they do nickle and dime you on them thats why I originaly wanted to go with Laeger but the +1FORWARD is why I went with LSR
  3. Yes Trinity makes an adaptor plate for your stock airbox and the carb sits nice and snug ruit in there. I recomend the Trinity 2:1 setup with a 35mm PWK espically if you plan on getting port work. If your not going to get it ported the 33 PWK will work wonders. http://www.trinityracing.com/products/yama...nsheecvkit.html Sweet setup. Ill be running one thats for sure.
  4. I like the Thor and O NEAL ones they never let me down. MSR Ones are nice too. my old MSR chest protector looks like its been through a war. But I rather the plastic protecting my chest being broken in shards than my ribs. And yes they were designed for more than just stoping roost. Next one I buy will be one like diffrentstrokes has. I ride on some harsh terrain and long steep hills twisted turned out all of that crazy shit and rocks can be pretty unforgiving.
  5. Should be good if you dont go to crazy with a stock unwelded crank and you keep it cool/ Maintain it. Then advance your timing +4 for more low end. That would be a killer combo with those PT MIDS. I have a Pro Design Billit Engraved -10+10 timing plate brand new in package for 87.00 shipped. Or Ricky Stator has S/S ones for 35.00 plus shipping I believe If you want to go with a crazy milled and decked stock head for pure race gas I have one for sale. Weld your crank for that though.
  6. True but he also has his timing advanced and you can never really tell with that. plus the 500ft asl is bumping it. Definatly do a compression test. Take jbookers advice. You can also try going to a local airport and buying 100AV fuel. It costs like 4-4.75 a gallon just run that straight. What ratio are you mixing your fuel at? Just curious
  7. I just boxed them up. All I have to do is drop it off at the Post Office. Youll have it by friday-saturday. I will get you a tracking number with your package and PM it to you tomorow. Thank you Wayne, Neil Collins SPARKIES SOLD! Hub/JT Sprocket Pending Payment. Everything else is still up for grabs. I can flex a few dollars let me know and we can work something out! Im going to find out how far that stock head is milled tomorow I will post on thursday. I can Also get it cut for O-Rings or grinded out for better flow For an extra charge. If anyone is intrested feel free to PM me or ask here.
  8. Are your RPMs droping when you shift and not hitting the powerband consistantly in each gear? If so you need to start bringing the RPMs up and shifting faster. keep up on your launches. Try starting in first and wind it out to 4th or 5th pinned. Then try launching in second and see witch one works better for you. Turns into second nature. I dont see how a Predator is walking by you unless he is the better rider of you two. I still havent been beat in a drag by a Raptor 700 or Piped 450. Ill race more this season but I think its going to take more than a pipe and jet kit on the 4 pokes to beat me in a drag. Keep practicing
  9. Sparkies sold Pending Payment Everything else is still up for grabs will flex some on prices If you want spark plugs B8ES OR BR8ES with your package add 2.00 a piece
  10. All you need from Elka is Dual rate the banshees shocks with the YFZ A-Arms arent long enough for tripple rate so that should save you a few bucks. Then when you look into +2+1 A-Arms all you really have to do to compensate is switch out the main springs witch is like 70 bucks. Works shocks are a little on the stiff side just to let you know. Last but cirtinaly not least the rear Elka with linkage is worth the extra money over a reworked stocker plus its weight in gold. This is all from personal expirence. If you have the extra $$$ go for it and get the best mod your Banshee will ever get!!!
  11. If your a casual rider go by your means but Beadlocks are great to have. Espically the Douglas Beadlocks strongest wheels out there. You will never have to worry about smacking a tree and bending a rim, they help out big time with sidewall protection, and they are almost imposible to break. Ive seen a few hiper wheels break just in hardcore trails that yeah can be considered GNCC track just as gnarly. They are alot eayser to change with handtools. If you take them to a tire place you will get charged everytime you want to swap tires and if you go through alot of them beadlocks actualy payoff.
  12. It has to be your jetting. You say your running K&Ns so I take it your running pods and that calls for bigger mains. Do you plugs look a little white? They should be nice and tan. Go up to 300s and see if your spitting oil out of your pipes or the bike is reving to high or breaking up at WOT in the higher gears and coming down and reving out. Running to hot is a big sign too. Thats too rich. If thats the case go a size down and work from there. Best thing to do would be a plugchop to see where your at on your mains? People always say they would rather run rich than run lean. I dont know why either way your gonna end up frying your pistons. Its best to be dead on at all times. When you figure out where your jetting should be as the weather changes jetting will be a snap everytime after that. Also when the bike is cold will it start without the choke? Does it sputter while its reving? You may be to fat on your piolets. Check it out and go to 27.5s I run B8ES and the only time I change them is when Im either taking it slow with kids on the back or I let an inexpirenced rider ride it. If I dident do those things my plugs would last me forever. What elevation do you ride at?
  13. I would atLEAST run a 25-75 or go to a small airport and buy AV gas and run that straight. Detonation is not hard to hear but a little detonation here a little there (Rattle crrrrrakakaka tsssss ping crinkcrinkcrakakakaha) and you need a new motor. Better safe than sorry or go up a size on your domes and that would suck!
  14. DONOT Submerge a Banshee. I dont even like getting water to get up to where it can touch my motor for the most part. 4 strokes yeah because the motor has all of that caseing around it. The Airbox with lid on and snorkle is not airtight and you will suck water into your motor and thats $$$$ and alot of work to fix. 3.5 ft you better put a floatation device under the skidplates and walk it across. NO FRIGGIN WAY MAN!!!
  15. I bought my Banshee because of the way it preforms its only a bonus that it looks badass. I love running up on a crowd of ATVs most of them 4 strokes with the front end of the Banshee comming up on them. It commands respect TWIN CYLINDER 350 2 STROKE!!! I never understood why people would want to make their Banshees look like a big bore 4 stroke. Like mullet man said it just doesnt mix. Plus there are so many ways to make your banshee look more appealing to the eye but like I always say The best looking Banshee is the Banshee caked in dirt and mud crossing the finish line. I dont think it looks cool and it cirently doesnt fool anyone. As always To each is their own...
  16. Yeah thats definatly a good price. Does that include the needle pins or are they seprate $10-13 a piece? Either way thats a damn good price and you dont have to guess if your getting the rite size pistons and rings like I have heard from too many people getting the wrong sizes buying them from ebay.
  17. You may also need an Impact to get that first nut off the flywheel. I also recomend buying a new gasket for the Impeller. I got one for like 18 bucks. Your local Yamaha shop probably has them in stock ask them for a ten percent discount and you should be around 23-25 dollars.
  18. I agree with everything said. Thats why I dident advetize in every post espically where site sponcers could have helped out. I did advertize as a premium member and made a few sales but Im not getting back into it for a few months and I did contact Lee first and I hve the opertunity of being a site sponcer and as soon as I figure out sales numbers ect when I get back into it.. I will be a site sponcer on this site first!!!!!
  19. How do you tell har far a stock head was milled I have a stock unmilled head to compare it too? I can post pics of them rite next to each other. Lets make something of this waste of space thread
  20. Thanks Jay, Im suprised noone is intrested in any of this stuff. Considering the condition its in espically. Well if it doesnt sell here I will have to put it on flebay
  21. I was just gonna make this topic. I was looking at the Loadline OS Rads but man are they expensive. If anyone has 2 or knows of a cheap offbrand that is proven hook it up.

  23. I would rule out the z400 rite away IMO. I think they are nice trail bikes but the power is very flat to me and they dont handle as well as the 450s or 250rs. The new 450s really have a wide powerband for a 4 stroke almost 2 strokeish and they are race ready rite out of the box. The LT-R is actualy as wide as a bike with +2 A-Arms and the suspensio is fantastic. I like the KFX and all but the all aluminum frame seems like a strength issue to me. The 250Rs are a great race bike with a sick 2 stroke powerband and they are super fun to ride and they handle great. A few mods like some wider a-arms and mabey suspension upgrade wider axe and some practice and you will be rite with the 450s on a 2 stroke. Now the Banshee is a diffrent beast all together, if you are looking for the ultimate 2 stroke pure power espicaly from mid to top and you wont be happy without that 2 stroke twin hit that only the Banshee provides then go for it but be warned in stock form they are super dangerous to ride on a track. The handling and suspension simply are not there you have to put alot of money thousands of dollars just in frame components to get it up to par with the rest of the racer ATVs out there Plus you will need to change the rpm range for more bottom for the power now factor from gearing down, going around corners WHile landing jumps without over reving and missing ect.
  24. Here are the Pics. The Spark Arrosters fit on Toomey T5 or T6 Silencers I know that cause I tried them on mine. Im not sure what other silencers they will fit 2 &1 half inch diameter. The first pic of them is crappy cause of the lighting. Screens are already in them. The Intake Boots are for 34mm Carbs. Make me offers. Im reasonable but Im not giving any of this stuff away.
  25. 18' center to center Just send me a money order
