  1. Where the cheapest place to get the TORS eliminator kit?
  2. Sounds like a plugged vent tube.
  3. No im not playing tricks on you. I will be fine vrs the 450s on the mx track. Im just going for practice days anyway. Im in school and dont have time or money to compete right now. I have one friend with a shee that will be racing with me, other than that there is a couple 400's a couple 450's and a 250r that i know of.
  4. Mods are in my sig, I have arms and shocks.
  5. Cool thats what I wanted to hear. Ill have to look into an adjustable plate too.
  6. The mods I have are in my sig, I also have a g-force axle on its way in. I ride ALOT of trails and plan on hitting the MX course a couple times this year to see if I like it (which im sure I will), im a finatic when it comes to jumping. So here is what I was thinking to give my motor a low-end bite. I would also like to keep the shee a sleeper (keeping the stock look). Paul Turner mids (get them bare metal and powdercoat them black) Head milled .020 (plan on running 94 oct whats the most I can mill?) Cylinders ported .020 over (with wiseco pistons and mx port job by rb racing) Crank trued and welded Removing the lid 15/41 gearing with an o-ring chain (im at 13-41 now and the gears are too short for mx) Maybe a 33mm single carb later on Any suggestions would be appreciated. Once I get the pipes im going to send the guts out to R&B and see what he reccomends.
  7. If you quad is stock I wouldnt worry about it. Ive run mine anywhere from 100 to 10 degree temps without rejetting and its fine. Its also stock. In all honesty I think itll be fine.
  8. I cant believe I forgot to ask that. 260-270 should be good with a lid 300-310 open airbox.
  9. That gearing should be fine, im at 13/41 riding trails and open sand areas and i like it. When i got my Paul Turner mids, .020 over piston .020 milled head and +4 timming ill be moving to 15/41 cause the bike will have too much low-end.
  10. Start at 300 or even 310. Do a search for "plug chop test" and read some articles.
  11. LOL! good stuff. What lessons did you learn? Your parents are democrats arnt they?
  12. If you want low end go with paul turner mids, they cant be beat. You can also get them with "quiet core" silencers.
  13. The stock suspension is garbage no matter what you set it at. It is a good design with poor quality. Invest in aftermarket suspension if you plan on stay with mx. You WILL hurt yourself if you dont. Ask me how I know......
  14. Do you guys think that the powdercoating in the link above will hold up?
  15. Go with a 310 or 300 and work your way down. Are those bare pt's or do you plan on having something done to them?
  16. rb racing in michigan http://groups.msn.com/RBRacingTwoStrokePorting
  17. I agree, stay stock length and get the the 2:1
  18. 260-300
  19. They are going to turn black eventually. do the plug chop test.
  20. Ive never rode there but have friends that used to. Im not sure if they still do cause I dont talk to them anymore. They never got harrassed when they used to ride there. This was about 2-3 years ago though.
  21. lol on the stock pipes.
  22. People ride off of beech daily and northline behind that party store. Other than that theres nowhere I can think of. Theres a couple places I know of in romulus but it was awhile ago.
  23. You should be good with a 260 unless you have an aftermarket air filter then id go with a 280. Needle on the 3rd clip. Your best bet is to do a plug chop to see. I passed up a couple great deals cause I want some PT mids BAD! i think ill order them next week or so. Fattys up the power from low to high. I think theres a post on here that rates the power for all the pipes, do a search fo it. Where do you live in southeastern michigan? where do you ride?
  24. Wow! thanks for all the fast replys. Those chrome paul turner mid pics are sexy (the bike be be throwing me off).... man I just cant decide...
  25. He got his phone # changed i think. This is the new number 517-388-3662. Ive heard nothing but good things about them. Great prices and good quality. Cant argie with 2 week turn around either.
