  1. I think they can be set to zero preload, assumming that means there is no tension on the springs. If I back off the lock nuts there is no tension.
  2. I wouldnt grind anything. Just change the rear sprocket....

  8. I just installed the hydrodynamics i4500 kit on my shee and I need a little help tuning it. First off I set the camber as close to a 90 degree angle as I could just to start off. I will angle the tires a bit once I get used to the new suspension. I just had a few questions so here they are. (The installation instructions were HORRIBLE!) What should I set the camber at? What should I set the preload at? How do I measure were the preload is set (im going by the # of threads)? How many clicks should I set the rebound damping at? (22 total clicks I went with 11) The quad seems to be sitting very high, would more preload lower it?
  9. Look into hydrodynamics. Full front suspension with S.S. brake lines for 700 bucks right now on ebay. I just finished installing my kit yesterday and it looks tight. Havnt tried it out yet though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/iShock-i450...07544QQtcZphoto Buy that kit and sell the shocks if you want elkas real bad.
  10. Just wondering if anyone has had any powder coating work done in southeastern michigan? I dont really wanna ship my pipes out once I get them. I would much rather have something like that done locally. Thanks for your time.
  11. I got s.s. brake lines Arms Tie rods Ball joints Shocks Sleeves Ball joint tool Any ideas on where to get pt mids cheap?
  12. It is just the opposite. Having a highend pipe will make the powerband hit even harder which makes wheelies much harder to control. Have a lowend pipe (where the powerband is lacking with make wheelied a lot easier to control... The transition of power is much smoother therefore makes the power more usable in a situation like that. Which is what makes them such good mx pipes.
  13. If you paid for it via paypal just file a claim and you will get your money back

  18. Alright thanks for the advice. Torching the a-arm didnt loosen it enough to knock it loose. I ended up cutting the a-arm in 1/2 and sliding it off the sleeve. Ill post pics, its kinda funny how bad I f'ed up this arm....
  19. I got my i4500 front suspension kit today from a powersports store on ebay. The shipping was great and when I got the product it was packaged very professionally. They also sent me complete stainless steel brake lines rather than just the extenders! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...2473&rd=1,1 Overall so far I have been very pleased with the kit. I got most of the stock stuff off the bike and started installing the kit tonight. The DVD is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off as far as how simple installation is. I spent about 4 hours on it today and just got one side back together. For some reason the bolt the holds on the stock top left a-arm WILL NOT BUDGE (I am by no means weak, this thing will not move). Ive tried hitting it with a hammer, pulling on it with vice grips, also tried penetrating oil, tightening a c-clamp on it, nothing worked. My cousin is bringing over a heat gun and torch tomorrow to see if we can knock it loose with that. Anyone have any suggestions? I might end up just cutting the damn thing off with a hacksaw and ordering a new bolt. It astounds me as to how shitty these stock welds are, im gunna have to learn to weld and hit them myself. (I never looked that close at them until now.)
  20. Hydrodynamics a-arms have a lifetime warranty as well.
