  1. bump.... again....
  2. How much oil are you putting in and what kind do you use?
  3. There is no reason to run that much oil. It wont make anything get lubricated any better. The oil can only do so much. If your lean then knock it up to a 310.
  4. Brownstown (where I live) is 600 ft above sea level. Most of michigan is between 500-1000ft. If you ask me your insane for running 24:1. Break in isnt based on oil mixture its based on rpm range and temp.
  5. Thanks for the support. Still waiting. 180 shipped to anywhere in the continental US.
  6. 2004 stock banshee axle for sale. Includes both axle nuts, hub nuts, and pins. Make offers. Its not bent but does have some rust ill try to clean up before I ship.
  7. bump once again.
  8. On the straight aways its just like drag racing. Dont let off the throttle and just tap the clutch real quick and shift. P.S. Suspension is by FAR the best upgrade you can get for the shee. Assuming you do something other than ride in straight lines all day.
  9. Thanks for the bump.
  10. Bump, still up for sale.
  11. I know the shee will take an R6 clutch but will the R6 take a shee clutch? Ive heard nothing but good things about the F.A.S.T racing clutch and was thinking about getting one for the R6 soon. It has a barnett clutch in it now and I think its slipping a bit after about 6k miles of easy riding.
  12. Suspension is the best upgrade in my opinion. No sense in having all that power if you cant get it to the dirt. I ride mostly open trails like you, usually they are very sandy. I have a whole new front end and g-force axle. The difference is unreal. Im having to return my PT mids because they are for a j-arm shee but I will be getting some new(ish) ones soon. The shee is meant for high-end power, but if you can give it some low-end itll be a killer if you ask me. I love having my shee on trails, hit that lightswitch powerband and just slide right around corners. Im geared one tooth down in the front and it helps bigtime for those big stumps and logs.
  13. You would think they could find someone to interview that can finish a sentence......... http://www.atvconnection.com/videos/player...ew_VP6_256K.flv "you know?" "uhhhh" "tons" "biiiike" Hicks are funny.
  14. Thanks, that answered all of my questions. Im trying to draw a line for mods and not cross it. Thats gunna be hard to do. lol. My quad has been completely stock up until this year and then I slapped on all the mods I have now.
  15. $180 Ill be in harrison next weekend so I can bring them to you or you can come to my cabin. I paid 180 for them and wont take less than that.
  16. http://www.leenks.com/link75576.htm
  17. I was told that shaving your head doesnt increase compression, only rechambering does. Is that true? Whats the difference? Heres what im hoping to do this winter and I would like to keep the quad on 94 oct gas. Shaved head (how much for 94 oct? I was thinking .025) .020 mx port with wiseco pistons PT mids Welded crank +4 timming if I can stay on 94 oct gas 500-1000 feet above sea level The rest of my mods are in my sig.
  18. $180 shipped (lower 48 states only) for the first person who pm's me. I believe thwy will only fit j-arm banshees but if someone wants to try to get them to fit on another shee then have at it. They are in fair shape. The chrome is chipped off in some places. They are not bent and have no major dents.
  19. They will press on all the way but I couldnt hold them there and take the picture. Even with them pushed on all the way I need a good 1" to 1-1/2" of clearance before they will fit. I emailed the seller via ebay and tried to work things out. He also upgraded the status of the dispute to a claim even though that is my job if you ask me. I cant believe this guy. Here is what he emailed me... "I was not aware of that fact. I think the best way to take care of this matter is to relist them yourself because I got laid off from work last week and I don't have the money to refund you. I'm so sorry for your inconvenience." Here he told me in another email that htye would fit all years.... "what year is your bike? explain why they do not fit because they fit 1987- current sorry for the inconvenience. " Here is what he wrote paypal..... "The item sold was exactly as listed. The buyer did not do any research on the item before bidding to see if they would fit his year, make, and model of Atv. There are many resources he could have checked with to find this information out. I do not want to do bad business with anyone, But I can not see this being my fault. This was not at all faulse advertising of my item. I also did not offer any return polocy in my add. My listing was 100% exact and truthful. If there is anything I can do to asist in this matter I will. Thanks Bryce Conley" I specifically requested more pictures before I won the auction and the seller claimed his wife had the camera and she was out of town. This is such a piss off.
  20. Thank you, just wanted to confirm it.
  21. Few more pics to give you guys an idea. This is the closest they will come. All of the pics but the first one where taken without moving the pipe.
  22. There is no way im trying to mount the pipes on the wrong sides, thats just how they end up. The ehxaust entrence has to be on the inside of where the silencer hooks up. If i switch the pipes the silencer side would have to be on the inside of the frame and theres no way thats gunna happen. Im going to take more pics now just to see if you guys can tell me if its for an older banshee maybe?
  23. Ill get some more pics up. That one that I have is me holding the pipe trying to get it in the frame with it mounted on the jug already. Ill take some more just to be sure. I had 2 cousins, my dad, my bro, and my uncle who is a mechanic all look at it and all of them said theres no way it will fit. The pipe from the exhaust entrence to the furthest point forward is like 12-14 inches and there is only about 10 inches of clearance from the jug to the frame, so theres no way the pipe can fit inside the frame. All get more pics up to see if itll help out. Once again I appreciate all the help everyone.
