What are the rules as far as spark arresters go at silver lake? Im gunna be running PT mids with fatboy silencers. Will I need spark arresters on the end?

Any chance your breather hose came off? If its like a milky grey thats prolly what happend. The crank breather hose is on the very back of the motor on the top incase you didnt know. If your quad sucks in water the oil will look like what you discribed.

What terrian do you ride in? Stock suspension? Go up 1 tooth in the front and itll calm it down quite a bit. Less shifting too. Tires and a front sprocket would be your best bet. Without info on where you ride I cant reccomend tires. Just wondering what your compression is? Also what octane fuel do you run?

yes. Ive ran it since day one on my shee. Ive owned my 04 shee since 4/23/04. I bought it brand new and have rode the shit out of it and made my stock tires completely bald. I just replaced my plugs for the first time a few months ago. Now if I can go through a set of tires (they were completely bald) at 40:1 mix, and not foul a plug for about 2 and 1/2 years on a stock motor, then do you think its an oil worth giving a shot? Im not trying to be an asshole, just laying out the facts. I will take pictures of the tranny oil when I change it. It will look brand new.

I had the same attitude as you Jayy. The first thing major I bought for my shee was a new front end (see sig). I couldnt be happier. I couldnt pass up the price either. I got a full new front end (shocks, +2+1 arms, s.s. brakelines) for 750 shipped to my door. I think the company posted the wrong price on ebay because they changed it a week later. Now im going after some PT mids, port and polish, and a milled head. Ive done all kinds of research and im headed in the same direction you are. I dont think you could go wrong with the PT mids.

I think they heat it up and spin it. But im not sure.

They are great tires. I have the HD's and love them.
