  1. Air chisel works good too
  2. Agreed, but just for a quickie, the size domes don't matter for what octane to run...well they do, but you need to do a compression test to really know around what octane to run. Most guys'll do a 50/50 mix somewhere around 150-160 psi, but to each his own.
  3. Shweet, hope he's ok too
  4. I've noticed this too. Damn near everytime I'm done ridin I tear the carbs down and clean everything and make sure everything is set right, but then when I go and turn the gas on the next time some leaks out, and sometimes tapping on the side helps and sometimes it doesn't. Maybe all new floats/springs would help?
  5. Of course...hope the img tag works, if not just click on it. They're pretty dirty right now, and I'll try to work my magic on them before shipping.
  6. In good condition, a few stress marks but nothing out of the ordinary. Here's the deal, shipping is going to be around $100 if someone wants them whole, or I can race-cut them however you would like and ship for $60. If you want them whole price is $215 shipped OBO (depending where you're located). If you want them race-cut price is $175 shipped OBO (again, depending on location). Or these can be picked up. I'm located in Stillwater, OK...but frequently travel to southern Oklahoma and DFW, TX area. Really want to get rid of these!
  7. To get an accurate reading while doing a plug chop you need to cut away the threads so you can look at the base of the porcelain. Looking at the top part doesn't really give you a good idea of where the jetting's at.
  8. Ya I do remember the wookie, but I thought we were done with him back in the 18.....or 19th star wars movie...oh and I played golf in HS.....is that relevant?
  9. Sent ya a PM back, didn't really know what you're lookin for so...
  10. Yeah wtf did this mustang bullshit come from? Wasn't this about some dyno #'s of a banshee? I'd go back and re-read through some of the other posts but all the bullshit would clog my brain up right now :shoothead:
  11. Quote from UPS was $125 so I went to FedEx and asked how much it'd be to ship it if it was just shrink-wrapped and they told me right around $100. Now this is for the front and rear piece only. I'm like 2" over the regular limit so I keep getting hit with the oversize charge. I don't need these and wanna get rid of 'em but also want to get some $ out of it and not blow it all on shipping...any other ideas?
  12. Yeah depending on which one it is you can get 'em for that price from RM, unless it's the better one then that's a deal and I'd even jump on it.
  13. I know everyone says it can't be done but I've seen 1st-hand that it can, or at least it worked in this case so who knows
  14. Do these curing lamps work as good as an oven for curing the PC?

    Chrome V-bars

PM AustinOneal or me if he doesn't reply, he's got some.
  16. Yeah all I had ever heard was that you can't, but then I had a buddy that did all 4 of his stockers and they came out fine, just taped off the balljoint and everything after taking the boot off and cleaning all the grease out they could. Maybe the plastic that's inside there really doesn't melt and the temps needed to bake the PC...
  17. Or you can just sand it down smooth and hit it with Krylon Fusion, it's supposedly made for plastics and doesn't need any primer or adhesion promotor. Seems to work pretty good so far for everything I've shot it on.
  18. W/o re-reading the post I believe he said if any amount of "alcohol" is used the system needs to be purged.
  19. Yeah I've got osme v-paddles right now and they're great in the trails and just the regular duning but they're not worth shit for drag racing, and I'm going with a group of guys that only races pretty much so I want somethin that'll benefit me in both aspects.
  20. What elevation and temps are you riding in?
  21. Well if they start out as a 2-ply and are buffed then sounds like the AMS 2-ply's would probably be a good option for me.
  22. Lookin to get some regular 20x10x8 8 paddle haulers. They're kinda high in price and I'm really just lookin for somethin to run at LS in the softer sand. I looked at teh AMS sand snakes cuz they're cheaper and pretty light but saw they were only 2 ply, and seeing as I'll be doin some trails there I want somethin that's gonna hold up well. Would it be worth it to get the haulers for my "recreational" riding or are they just as thin on the AMS's.
  23. Well I do it b/c when launching in 1st you seem to spin through that gear so fast that you're launching to 2nd right away so you just launch in 2nd and save a shift. I guess if you geared high enough you could launch in 1st and avoid this...
  24. Maybe they converted back to a pay-site
