  1. Went home to do some work on the 'shee this wknd and put a .040 milled stock head on it and tested the compression and it was 125 for both cylinders. I should have tested it with the stock head on to see what it'd read but I didn't. I thought this sounded kind of low for havin a milled head, but the bike'll still start with 4-5 kicks when it's dead cold. Since both cylinders are at the same PSI I'm not too worried about tearing down to rebuild just yet, or should I?
  2. Just a few things I've collected so far that I need to get rid of to pay for another damn speeding ticket. Both bottom a-arms, good balljoints, good boots Clutch side top a-arms, good balljoint, good boot Stock front and rear blue plastic in perfect condition Miscellaneous clutch parts Low-profile handlebars (not sure what brand) 15 good a-arms bushings, 1 with the edge cracked but it'd work 400ex flywheel Stock '00-02 Chevy Silverado tailights Make offers on anything, thanks.
  3. If you've got an air chisel that might work, just watch out for the recoil :yelrotflmao:

    clutch basket

As much as this sucks, if I were you I'd spend the extra dough on an aftermarket one. The stockers aren't able to be fixed if they start spinning and it's hard as hell to find a good stocker and you never really know if it's going to be good or not, trust me, not worth the trouble.
  5. PM AustinOneal. He's got one. I'll be out there this wknd and can get pics if you need 'em.
  6. Sent you a PM about everything you wanted (minus hubs).
  7. I know someone who has all the front stuff you need (-the hubs I think) but he's in school and can't get to it till this wknd. PM me if you still want me to check into it and I'll get with him.
  8. No it's not good, had to replace mine recently because of this same thing. Not sure of the stock ones can be fixed, most just drill the 6 rivets out and put their gear on a billet basket.
  9. According to the chart on this site http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm you should be around 170-180 psi with that size domes and that elevation. Did you test it when the bike was warm and hold the throttle wide open and kick till you couldn't kick anymore?
  10. Still for sale?
  11. I have, almost killed a very, very close girl friend of mine. That shit's not funny, it impairs you no matter what you say.
  12. 2 completely different types of carbs man  I'd say bump 'er up and see what happens!
  13. How would you test it out on a weedeater? Not like you can dyno it, just cuz it "runs better" supposedly (which I don't even know if you could tell on a weedeater) doesn't mean you're making more power or anything. There's just too many unknowns that aren't worth risking dude.
  14. Damn I had 21mm typed in but couldn't remember exactly. I had this problem on one of my carbs and just takin them apart and cleaning and making sure the floats were sealing good fixed 'er up good.
  15. Your floats aren't sealing off and are letting the bowls overflow. Try tapping on the bowl with something and see if that helps, or take the carbs apart and clean them good and set the float height to 20mm I believe.
  16. Well if the smoking was the problem cleaning carbs probably aint gonna fix that. Most likely that means the crankcase oil seal is out. But ya definately take it back to them and make them fix it.
  17. Not sure what all the gas would come in contact but acetone is not good for seals and what not, they'll eventually break down, and alot sooner.
  18. Yeah you've gotta cut the outside of the mounting tubes so they will fit inside the brackets, then install the spacers on the inside. The newest pics with the new aluminum spacers really show it good, wherever the hell those pics are :yelrotflmao:
  19. I think someone measured and it's like having +2+1 arms pretty much. But then someone else did a measurement and there's came out almost 6" wider...
  20. Or possibly spitting out water...since you said it was locked up b4 you put a heater on it. Probably made a ton of condensation. What kind of coolant are you using that would freeze up?
  21. Mine didnt come with directions, so with about 10 posts and all the info I hope I've got it down.
  22. Cool thanks, ill definately go check it out next time I'm there. Can you just ride back there to look at the track or is it locked up?
  23. I went back today and some of the guys (even ones that posted in this thread) were talking how some HQ guys were bashing PS. Well no shit, it got ridiculous over there adn the choices made were obviously the dumbest that could be made. I was just amazed to see some of the things said by some people.
  24. So where exactly is the track in relation to the LS "riding area"?
  25. Boy those gold ITP's look an awful lot like my gold stockers :shoothead:
