  1. Congrats on the win. Holeshots suck drag racing on pavement, it very well could have been tire-spin.
  2. Did you make sure to file the boss down that the idle screw goes in to? If you don't it doesnt have enough length to reach the slide and adjust it up to idle.
  3. Boy those just barely squeeze in there huh? Looks great now!
  4. Wish I was ridin this wknd, but 3" of sleet and ice isn't exactly cooperating with me going home...
  5. Well if mine was in just a bit more POS state I'd be down, but I've put too much $ in it now. Hope you find somethin
  6. That'll depend on what kind of sand you're ridin in too. What kind of sand riding do you plan on doing?
  7. The only 2 washers I remember when I just had mine off were inside of the dust caps behind the rubber seal. As for the chain roller, I'd just order an aftermarket one.
  8. Well if it's gonna sit lower with the yfz stuff I'm definately not looking for that. Has anyone done a stock shee vs. w/ yfz front end height comparison? And stock width is around 43". That means you gained 6"? How does that happen...must be measuring from different places I guess.
  9. Stock pipes w/ just air-lid off, at that elevation I'd say around a 220 main. Stock's around 200 at sea level I believe so a 220 should be plenty rich enough to start I'd think.
  10. Whew turnin 21 in Stilly gimme...don't have too much fun and be careful on the roads this wknd, happy bday guys!
  11. I've got an extra OEM one I'll sell ya man, actually got 2. LMK and I'll have my friend pick it up this wknd for me. Edit, I did this also, and I used a little tool that looks like a tiny icepick and was able to unscrew the broken part out. Try it if you've got a tool small enough, it's not very hard, just time consuming. The bolts aren't tight in there at all when you break 'em off. We've had 3 do this and this worked everytime
  12. Ugly? Hell no Do I have the $ for another 'shee...ditto Wish I did tho, yours is very nice.
  13. Actually 80w gear oil and 80w Bel-ray is completely different. The Bel-ray is a fairly thin oil (compared to gear oil at least) so that comparison can't really be made. I've run both Gearsaver and 10w-30 so...both work.

  15. Hmm, interesting. My Sand Star V-paddles hook pretty nice in the wetter sand and are awesome turning in anything. As much sh*t as the Gecko's get I wonder how these will fair?
  16. Damn speeding ticket :: Guess the yfz front end just wasn't made for me
  17. Can you get a rebuild kit for these?
  18. My bad, it is a 'shee, I just mean not hydraulic like a car is, where they have some different adjustments available.
  19. Anything you can do about this? I know there's probably not since they're a mechanical setup and not hydraulic but I didn't know if anyone had come up w/ somethin.
  20. Yeah mine look kinda weird. I just wipe it down good everytime I put the reeds back on.
  21. Yeah it's kind of trying to find that happy medium spot. They'll run fat but may bog some, and they'll run lean but risk blowing the motor. This isn't as much a problem on the pilots tho b/c it's like 0-1/8 throttle, so you're not givin it much power.
  22. I've got some, it's in a little rough condition and would cost quite a bit to ship. That's the problem with any plastics tho. It's race-cut fronts and stock everywhere else. I'll clean it up and shine it as good as possible before selling though. Make me an offer.
  23. You ever find any man? I'm tryin to make some money to get the yfz stuff so I'm sellin my stockers. Yellow springs, will clean up and polish real good b4 selling. LMK.
  24. Not sure if you're still lookin but I'm tryin to sell my stockers. Yellow springs, in good condition, will polish and clean up. LMK.
  25. 1. Get big bar 2. Position bar 3. Bend subframe back  Buddy bent his up a little where his tank wouldn't come off and he just bent 'er back. I can't tell from the pic where it's bent, but just position the bar in the right place and I don't think you'd have any problems.
