  5. do you have to use thier levers on the mag setup? also do they have a bleeder valve for getting air out like a brake or what? They are a pain in the ass when they brake in the dune, found that out the hard way. A guy was riding with us on his KTM dirtbike and he had to smallest crashes and it cracked his open, cost him 200 bucks and that wasnt at the dunes. so his weekend was ruined by basically a nothing crash

  11. i was poking around www.glamisdune.com and saw that they had a trail that derailed at wash 7, did some good damage, but it looks lie they got the big movers out in no time to get it fixed up. that line is KILLER busy! if they didnt get that thing up and going they would hav lost TONS of money!

  19. at that elevation 320 will be fat. I ran 310 at sea level to 1500 with pipes reeds and airbox lid off and was a little on the fat side. id start with maybe a 300-310 main and do plug chops 27.5 pilot, stock needle 4th clip 2.5 turns on air screw, you should be very close
  20. my 4mil with mild porting and mid pipes had awsome bottom and mid. I didnt have to rev it out nearly as much as i thought i would. if he gets a good woods/trail port and maybe some PT mids, bump the timing you should be good. just dont cut too much on the ports so your alredy lacking bottm end suffers even more
  21. dont waste the money on the power lid, just get a good k&n type filter that will bolt inside the air box and run an outerware over it. nothing will get past that will harm anything and you will save 120 bucks from that stupid powerlid
  22. who ported your motor? For a dune port (understanding that not all dune ports are the same) you could get away with some T-5 and keep more of that bottom and mid range but your going to loose top. This is from Shearers not from what your currently running.
  23. yes they are 100% differant pipes, one is a low to mid range pipe, the other is top end . The Shearers are made for drag racing. depending on what kind of riding you do should have determined the type of carbs porting and pipes you needed to get.
