  1. you wouldnt happen to know if the gear cluster was taken apart and rebuilt would you?
  2. Snop, i think the reason most guys like them isnt for the hp but for the better throttle response.
  3. crazy beaner ! hey steveo i took friday off of work so we are going to head out first thing friday morning when cristal ges home from work, what time are you nags going to get there? cause its goig to take us several hours extra wth the morning traffic
  4. yea the R6 use a differant plate then the FZR bikes, but I think they still fit fine
  5. Look up Herr Jugs Racing, Kevin will have the fastest turn around this time of year, but its not going to be one week thats for sure.
  6. Thats NOT true, we used to mis match rims and tires on porpuse when racing oval tracks, it has to do with staggering the tires and how much roll the tires have when cornering. there more to do with it fitting then just the shear size, the rubber compound and side wall siffness makes more of a differance then the diameter and yes tate you are correct in your last post
  7. yea your reading the number wrong tate. thats not the diam thats the width edit: i run 21 X 12 - 8 thats a 21 inch hieght a 12 inch width and a 8 inch diam
  8. oh you have 11 in tires going on 10 inch rims? you had it backwards. that will hold but your tires opening up is going to be insane once you lay on it with all the extra "loose" sidewall
  9. yea they "should" seal but if you hit rough spots your chancing that the beads pop. spreading the width is one thing but diam isnt the best idea
  10. long time no see dan boy. why not ditch the one you got and get 2 PWK's?
  11. i used to have them way back in the day, they are nothing special. if your looking to save money port your stockers and get some carbon fiber reeds
  12. 66.5 mm or .100 over is the VERY last leg, but anything over .080 is cutting it close
  13. are you talking about 11 inch wide? yes they will fit, you just will loose some rollout on them.
  14. kind of funny that they started the site because of the bs that went down on PS yet they have a ohtonracing link posted on there lol, but hey look they arnt faggots about censoering the word bansheehq!!!
  15. yup you can just flip it over and split them. if you do you only need to replace the crank seals nd redo the yamabond on the case halfs.
  16. probly a 1987 FZR750 thats the exact same plate as the FZR1000
  17. so what exactly is the question? just should it have gone up when hot?
  18. oh no no no the boost ports have already been proven, i calling bs to the spacers making a differance with the boost ports thing.
  19. it should hold 6 lbs for 6mins. if its leaks you have a problem
  20. Boss makes good products, not sure about the rating of the seller but the company that makes the products them selfs are fine
  21. until i see dyno results of this i call bs. snop did a dyno on jugs without the boost ports and got a wopping .25 hp not enough to classify as a power adder by any means.
  22. wtf are you talking about? race gas = lose of power? I have never once heard a claim that higher octane = lose in power, please explain this. octane is the messurment of its resistance to detonation. now i do agree that 210 compressionis pretty high but i wouldnt drop it to 150, i would maybe go down to 180 or so. What size domes are you running? and what elevation are you at?
  23. yea you can test it on a multimeter, but i dont know what too look for i am retarded when it comes to electronics
  24. wow old post, it was already determined that this guy is a jackass. so i wont get into how wrong he is about the "detonation" on another note, your equation is missing a part, if your figureing displacement for a motor with more then one cylinder you have to multiply the equation by the number of cylinders. so it would be Displacement of a round cylinder = (Bore X Bore) X 3.1416 X Stroke / 4000 X 2 (for a banshee) resulting in a 421 or another way of doing it is{ bore in mm X bore in mm X stroke in mm X .0007854 X number of cylinders}
  25. nope just paper gasket, no problems
