  4. Why are you trying to run that needle if the majority of others have had success with the jetting already posted?
  5. When we raced gokarts, we ran meth, and we would run regular gas and spray wd-40. let the motor idle with the gas for a few mins, then run up the throttle and hit it with a little wd-40. let it catch back up and do that a few times. Then flood the shit out of it with wd-40 until it died. But that was on a running motor, not sure how you could get the wd-40 to coat everything is the motor is broke down.
  6. I picked up a HTC Hero. It's ok. It has a few things that piss me off because the keys are a little small, but it's leaps and bounds over the first Instinct that I had.
  7. How are you guys going to use the Fog if the bike is broken down?
  8. No sorry, they only go together. Yes the clamp comes with. Its a fat bar clamp if I am not mistaken.
  9. Yes them stem is off the bike and packed up to ship. I had a guy that was interested in it but havent heard back from him. The lockup is long gone.
  10. here is a pict of it bolted to the nology. I had it bent so it allows the nology to hang flat so you dont have to worry about the weight being put on the tabs and being broken off.
  11. I had a bracket made and hung mine in the stock location. If you are interested I got the bracket for sale. 25 dollars shipped if you gift the money on paypal.
  12. Most of the guys I rode with that had similar mods (including myself when I had similar mods) with 35 PWK's ran 155-158 mains, 50-55 Pilots, CEL Needle middle clip, 2.5 turns air screw. That was riding in SoCal temps from 80-110
  13. Check the dyna site. They have a map for the curves. I think it is something like 13 degrees at it's max. I ran mine at +4 and curve three when I was runing race gas on my 4mil
  14. What elevation and temps are you riding at? And hat carbs are you using?
  15. I did not hookup any of that mess with my Dyna. I only plugged in the two large plugs for the stator and the blue wire for the recitifier. All the other crap I tied up with a zip tie. I never had any issues. Do you have all your tors crap removed?
  16. My swingers where pretty ez to get in and out, I just had to clean the area from and dirt/sand/grease and turn it on the side and give it a tap, or grab it with my finger and pull it. Never had any that needed much wor to get out. Putting in was just as easy, added a little assembly grease, and tapped into place with a little hammer.
  17. I removed my big stock thing along time ago. Switched to a CR 250 kill switch on the bars, and moved my lights to a two stage toggle switch that I put on the plastics by the tank. Once you open the stocker up, you will see it is just some brass jumpers and once they close they allow the power to turn on your lights. It is very simple. Auxillery power to one side of th toggle, and your high beam wire and blue wire for tail light if applicable to the other. Flip the switch and you got power.
  18. I have never needed to remove a chain when riding to tow a bike, but to each thier own. I also do not carry tools to pull out a master link, don't really see a need.
  19. You did it right.Did you dab any grease on the bearing? You don't have to but it is a good idea. Either way it will get some oil to it, just good to have something so it's not metal on metal during your first dry start up.
  20. I have not seen that tool up close, but as long as it does not ave a whole that allows the pin to be pushed out the other side, and the head of the bolt/screw thing isnt a pin to remove the pin from the chain it should flatten the pin out. We used one when we raced that had a pin on one side, and a flat screw on the other.
