  1. Agree with Dave. I recently got some shipping pirces for my plastics for some guys, and it was going to run 60-75 bucks for shipping alone. Not to mention the packaging materials to make sure they where secured properly in transit. That's another 15 bucks in bubble wrap, paper, and boxes to fit everything.
  2. Porting isn't always pretty. A nice smooth surface does not mean it is a good port job. It means the guy had a steady hand. The porting its self could suck ass. Some of the best port jobs out there look like a 3 year old with a hammer and chisle went to town. It's all about the durations.
  3. I got a CDI off a 2000 for sale. I got it off ebay. I never ended up running it, but I was told it came off a running bike. I ended up staying with my Dynatek CDI before I parted the whole bike out. 55 shipped as long as you "gift" the money on paypal to avoid the fees. Other wise add 2 bucks for fees. Or I will take a money order as well.
  4. Not sure they would look good with a red frame but I got custom painted plastics for sale. With the seat 400 plus shipping... http://img42.imageshack.us/g/picture045n.jpg/
  5. I used liquid tape, shrink wrap, plastic wire tubing stuff, electrical tape, and some heat reflective automotive tape on areas that came near the inframe pipes.
  6. If the bike is covered under the act, the dealer can not just simply say that is what caused it. They have to be able to prove without a reasonable doubt. If it was to be taken to court over paddle tires because they "said" that was the reason without proof, they would lose. You could show that more bikes have no issues running them then those that do have issues. It doesn't really matter in his case though, cause the after market part did cause the issues when it fell off the carb and let in sand or dirt.
  7. Lectron Carbs SOLD!!!
  8. I am not sure if they would be covered under the magnuson ferguson act, but if they are, a dealer can not simply void a warranty becasue they want to or feel like it. They must prove that a specific part installed casued the issue. And even then they can not void your whole warranty. Only the parts that would be effected by the aftermarket item. But I have no idea if offroad vehicles are covered under this.
  9. What are you talking about? You can slide the whole shaft out the side of the case and there is nothing in the way.
  10. It all depends on the porting. McCoy and a few others run better on BB pipes. While Others run better with SB pipes.
  11. What did it sound like when it stopped running? I bet you don't have the right jetting and your stuck the motor.
