It's hard to get any money back on range finders these days. There are lots of guys selling Leupold RX 4's and 3's for like 200-250 bucks on hunting sites right now. Just one of those things where the market got flooded with new finders so everyone is trying to dump them....

I have a 200watt RS stator that I have ran for 4 years. not a single issue. I replaced the set screws on the pickup with some allen head screws. I have read several people say they hate them, but I haven't had a single issue with mine. If your interested I got one with an andjustable timing plate for 100 bucks. Edit: Oh thats the new style plug as well.

You will be fine as long as they didn't crack the cases open and nothing contacts them.

I reloacted mine to the trash. All you have to do is jump the wires and you can toss the key out the window.

Nothing wrong with buying used electronics. If they work they work, new or used has no effect on them. I ran a Nology with hotwires as well. I had a bracket made so the coil hangs in the stock location and doesnt put the wieght of the coil on the two tabs.

New condition. No rust. No damage. I could not get the screws that attach it to the timing plate to come loose, so rather than chancing stripping them out, I left it and will only sell them together. Other than the screws, you could put it in plastic and never know it was used. The lights have some wear on them. Typical shitty chrome from Trail Tech. But they are not damaged from wrecking or anything like that. I actually never even used them. I did turn them on to make sure they worked, but I ran only during the day.
