  1. Would be interested in trading for a nice 4x4 quad or a Rhino, Ranger, ect side by side with some hunting accessories.
  2. A few years back I got screwed by a guy on here that stole a bunch of parts from me that he was supposed to chrome. I contacted the state police in both Ca and Mich and for me to do anything I would have to go to Mich to file a claim. Wait until a hearing and fly back to go to court. IF he showed up then the judge would do his thing. If not (which 99.9% chance he wouldn't show) I would have to wait for the court to supena his ass and then fly back out there on a seperate court date. What a justice systme hu? Makes it so it's damn near impossible to do anything about it. Oh and I asked about suing for the cost of the flights, and I was told that because it is a civil case that I could not sue for my incurred costs of transportation to legal hearings. Edit: If anything ever comes out of this I got a 4mil cub Drag ported by K&T with all kinds of stuff I am selling if your interested.
  3. This has scam writen all over it. What exactly is a "crank is a 36 stroker westco" Must be the first person to not want to tell you that it's a Cub and not a stock motor. I like how it's a 350, but it has a "36 stroker" ????? What ever the hell that is.
  4. I thought that all purchases made on ebay that you use paypal with are protected? Why can't they get your money out of him? Check his feedback. There was a guy on Jan 16th that bought a set. Said his shipping was very slow but that he got them. Maybe you will endup getting them and just take stupid long to get them???
  5. IT depends on what oil you use. From 32:1 to 50:1 is normal, but we need to know what oil you plan to run?
  6. Maybe he ment to say that it was dropped out of a plane and hit terminal velocity
  7. Tranny - The cheapest ATF Type F I can find. Premix - for Gas Yamalube, for Alky Supertechniplate. Coolant - Water Wetter and distilled water, unless you live where it freezes, then use Engine Ice as it has freeze protecion.
  8. If your not running lean they shouldn't blue. They may take on a little blueing right where the exhaust gases hit over a long period of time, but not too bad. Then after you ride/wash the bike spray some WD-40 on them and wipe them down.
  9. It all depends on the porting. Some builders want you to run the BB pipes with their porting, while others like the SB.
  10. It's also just a good starting point. He may need to close them off some. But who knows
  11. That's how the stock carbs run good. Every stock setup I have seen run near sea level runs best with the 27.5 pilot. When I had stock carbs on my bike, I attempted to change my pilot out and it wouldn't hardly run. Went back to 27.5 2.5 turns and it was perfect.
  12. Alot of places that advertise as chrome are actually nickle plated. They give off a more of a golden tint. There are places that will do used pipes but they usually cost quite a bit and are hard to come by becasue they do not want to contaminate the tank. There is a guy on here that goes by the user name bk_banshee he did alot of chrome for me. He may be able to help you out. He also does aluminum chrome. He costs more than your local chrome dipper, but his work was top notch!
  13. You should need around a 310 Main, 27.5 pilot, stock needle middle clip, 2.5 turns on the air screw. Get your self a Sync Tool and make sure your cabrs are synced. Inspect the rubber boots on the intakes and look for any dry cracked areas that might indicate a possible air leak.
  14. One more reason I hate California. Those cockwhores have nothing else better to do than to write petty bullshit tickets.
  15. Ok you should be right around sea level. So we will be able to get you close, you will be a little on the rich side more than likely, and you will just have to lean it out for your temp. I am assuming your runing stock carbs?
  16. Pull the cover and look at your pressure plate and see if it is rubbing on the three little nipples under the cover. If so get a dremel and file them flat.
  17. Where are you riding, what's the elevation and temp there?? Pull the carbs and list the jets. We can get you very close to what your going to need to run.
  18. It is from the heat. It could be your running a little lean, or it could be the quality of metal/chrome. Most of the time it is from running lean. What mods are run running and whats your jetting?
  19. No. My 35's were bone stock. No billet bowls or anything. Never had any issues with fuel. That was before the cub was ported too though.
  20. Holy shit Kev! I didn't know you already graduated from the Art Institute of San Diego!!! Congratz buddy! lol
  21. You should be fine. I was running my 421 cub on 35 PWK's and stock bowls running all the way to the top of Olds and China Wall in Glamis and never came close to running dry. If you run alky you may get a little close becasue they use more fuel.
  22. hahah man if you could see how much I am laughing right now!
  23. They would need to be full synthetic turds though.... You can offer those right? lol
  24. What amazes me about Amsoil is that they do not market towards mom and pop that need to get thier Lincon Town cars oil changed. They market towards the after market crowd. I am not positive but do they even offer a non synthetic oil? So for them to turn the profit margins they do is pretty dang good, when you compair them to a Exxon that is pumping out hundreds of thousands of gallons of gas, diesel, and motor oils. They have also entered the market of fertilizers I guess too.
  25. It's geniouse because everyone that signs up thinks they are getting a great deal, when in reality they are just getting typical retail price for the stuff. You inflate the cost and offer a "dealer price" and people flock to it for some stupid reason. I wouldn't ever call it sales desperation. At least in Amsoil's case, look at thier profit. They are making amazing amounts of $$$. Even during times where everone is trying to cut back.
