  1. are you talking about the ball joint where it goes into the spindle? If so you have to get the threads started and turn the spindle as far as it will go and put alot of pressure on it and the ball joint should bindup and you can tighten it.
  2. if you want to put a stroker crank you need to get the motor ported for the new stroke. You can use a spacer plate but thats the least perfered method.
  3. thats what i am saying, thats probly why there is the confusion because it wasnt explined to you like i just did it
  4. it depends on what lever you got. mine touches. but others dont... i am a little confused on what your asking about the outter hub... are you running a full stock clutch?
  5. I think the confusion is coming from the fact that he cant give you tickets not having a membership. IF you had your membership piad and donated things you DO get tickets. My self and many others have donated things and got tickets for it.
  6. contact the dmv, you can get a certified copy of the title to replace the original
  7. you can not always base your clutch adjustment off the arrows. they are nothi8ng more then a guide. Espisally if you have an after markets clutch. What I do ith my clutch is leave the springs off and adjust the screw until i feel it hit the ball/rod and then back it off 1/4 turn. then bolt everything back up. MY arrows come no where near lining up like the clymers says any more. As long as you dont put the tension on the clutch at all times you will be fine
  8. the star only goes on one way. it sound like you may have a bent shift fork. can you shift up still or is it stuck only in first? make sure the shift actuator thing that turns the star is lined up properly.
  9. its probly a combo of your air screws not bing the same and your carbs not being synced
  10. run the exact oil and mixture your going to be running.
  11. its not tha big of a deal, you can find a set. banshee wheels come a dime a dozen, just keep your eyes open. how soon are you needing them?
  12. 32:1 is fine
  13. the same mix your going to be running. no need to change it. Too much oil on breakin is worse then what most people think. It does nto allow the rings to wear properly to get a nice snug seal.
  14. yes, 38 TM's on meth with a pump.
  15. all the parts should have a oily film on them from the premix but a 2 stroke does not owrk like a normal car motor where the crank sits in oil and uses it to lube everything on a 2stroke the oil is mixed in the gas and thats where it gets it lube
  16. you can send it to a builder and have it done, that way they can weld the pins and true the crank ... if its a stock crank you can buy a used one with very little hours n it for dirt cheap. they go for 75 bucks all day long
  17. wow thats a killer deal! very nice bike! someone is going to be a happy camper!
  18. sounds like you had some detonation. probly ruined your crank bearings and now they are crying out for replacements.
  19. your carbs are goig to depend on what porting a pipes your going to be running. It sounds like your going to be riding trails. My idea of trails might be a little differant then yours, but a set of 30-33 pwks with some T-5 or PT Mids, and a nice trail/dune port would give you a nice range of bottom to higher mid power.
  20. I would say around 4500-5000 out here. Sucks your having to sell some of the toys! For anyone interested, I have seent his bike. Its in really good condition, and runs great. It will not disappoint!
  21. its fun if you like ot party, but if you like to ride, all bets are off. there are so many people out there and all the dunes get rutted up BAD!
  22. a 4mil stock ported jugs is a great choice. as long as they are virgin jugs and have no porting on them you can have pretty much any type of port job done to them to suite your riding.
  23. have you seen them in person to make sure that the paddle are in good shape? 175 for fronts AND backs is a good deal. But your not going to get much from the wheels.
  24. I think most of the confusion is coming from the fact that Kevin is probly able to give you more bottom end then normal. But this does NOT mean that it will have the same bottom end as a trail friendly motor. Without detuning a motor that was cast with drag port timings, you will not get the same bottom end as a trail ported stock cylinder. Can you get better then your average cub? Yes , absolutly.
  25. how many paddles are you looking for? I wouldnt even both buyiong things that dont fit and tryig to swap them. there are plenty of tire/wheel combos that will fit your bike the first time and will be really cheap
