2 strokes do not use oil for the crank case. that is way we have premix. We use oil for the tranny only. I use ATF Type F in mine. You hav to change it a little more often then using 10w30 or gearsaver 80w but its dirt cheap at walmart. before i switched to ATF I used Gearsaver 80W.

make sure both carbs are jetted the same, make sure the air screws are the same and make sure the carbs are synced

yup that would work fine. basically what you do is go to your c drive and copy any and all files that you want to save. you cant backup programs, only files. so say you had a special version of an anti virus, you would not be able to save the program but you could save the install file to load the program... does that make sense? So with like itunes, you would go to where you have all your mousic saved, and copy it to the external hd. so if you wiped your c drive you can just go back to the external and copy the folder they are saved in a transfer them back to your c drive and then point itunes to the files. It isnt a good idea to play the music from the backup hard drive though. make sure you play it from the c drive becasue you run less of a chance of loosing the backedup data that way

the mst advance is curve 3, by the graph from dyna they all start at like 9 or 13. one of the two, i cant remember right now. i will try and find the graph

thats not what he means, the dyna can be reprogrammed so the curves are customized. As long as the curves are the "stock" dyna curves and not customized with the programmig kit you can get away with a few degrees. i used to run +4 AND urve 4 on my dune bike.

It's cool, I am sure many of us here know what "other site" you speak of. There is no ban list here for mentioning other site names. Unfortunatly there probly isn't any way to have this fixed. As much as it sucks, everyone that got hosed will endup paying more to get it fixed right.

on my wifes 450 i can ride almost tripple the amount of time without refueling, but it still woudlnt put me near the 155mile mark

i am almost possitive that your not going ot make 155 miles on one tank of gas. I had an aftermarket tank on my bike back in the day and it would be empty after a little ride in the dunes. I wish I could give a an amount of fuel that is consumed every min at a set RPM but there are just too many factors to even make a guess. Every motor will be differant.

Chariot sells a nice aftermarket thumb throttle. But you can get an extended push lever made by cascade or mod quad and it makes a big differance for much less. also look at some lighter carb springs.
