started with a stock bike with fmf pipes lonestar axle and +3 Ricky Stator A Arms. The topend needed to be rebuilt, few years and three builds later i am still constantly changing things. trust me, once you think yours done, there is ALWAYS more. Even when you get your motor perfect for your riding, you can make it prettier.

trading becasue you want to run a pump? Just keep what you have and plug the one side. I used some old fuel line, and put a bolt in there that was nice and tight. that way if anything happens to the pump i still have a way to get fuel to both carbs. That and a single one isnt going to flow any better. unless you get the guzzlerwhich isnt needed running the pump

if you run a 4 mil you have to get a spacer plate (not perfered) or get the motor ported to adjust the port timings. The pistons are not due to the stroke, the differant pistons are do to the rod length. You can get a long rod 4mil (most common and perfered) or a noraml rod. The rod length has nothing to do with power, its only to releive angle from the rods when the motor fires, those taking stress off the bearings. I would say that if you hav the funds. Get the 4mil crank and have someone port your jugs for your riding style. BTW that is a very nice pict you have. What kind of camera was that taken with? I have a Canon XTI but havent quite figured out any of its neat features other then point and shoot. Would love to get some pcts like that out at the sand drags ths next trip. If you know a little about cameras please drop me a pm, i would be interested in learning a thing or two.

Chad, I am going to be heading out once I get off owrk on friday (noon). If you dont mind giving out your cell # I would do that so everyone can get ahold of you to get directions of where we are located. I like marker 4, its not close to the front and not way in the back where the people come flying by like a bat out of hell to get in the dunes.

a 4mil is the only crank that you can drop in without trenching the cases. If you wish to do the work your self get a clymers manula and follow it step by step, 2 strokes are very simple motors. The part that you wont be doing your self is the port work. Depending on what your trying to get out of the motor and the type of riding will determin what setup you would benifit from the most.

if you win make sure you make it so that gov computers can open any site. i cant see the link

did it just start happening or has it always done it? check to make sure the metal arms that hold the flaots are not bent. and make sure the flaot hieght is correct. If they try and open too far they can get stuck on the bottom of the bowls

your needle seat valve is sticking becasue there is trash in it probly. pull the carbs and remove the needle and blow it out.

i dont use o rings on pipes any more, just some hitemp silicon on the place for the oring and another bead at the end of the flange on the motor, let them dry then put the pipe on

I can assure you there are more then I that feel the same way about this topic and will not buy a Boss product. Retail stores make money on one thing. Customer satisfaction. PERIOD. Like I said a happy customer is a customer for life. In this case, the problem was not fixed, it was dealt with. Sandpaper and 10 mins or not, the products are brand new and should not require any modifications on the part of the buyer. Human errors occur, but human errors on all three of the products purchased? Like I said in the other post about Boss, they have a lack of Quality Control. When you buy something that is a set, unless the customer wants to separate the set and refund a portion of the product, which just about ever company in the United States wouldn't allow you to keep a portion, the company is responsible for the WHOLE set, not just the part that is wrong. Boss sold the set, not only the rims or only the tires, the set, there for if the custom wants a refund for the SET a refund should have been due. At NO POINT should a customer have to find a place in town to pull a tire of a rim because the store only wants to refund a portion of the SET. By your logic, if you buy something at Wal-Mart and you open it up and it's got a part that

But if you drove your car to MI for warrarnty work wouldnt the "dealer" fix it till the consumers happy? Now do to the problems with these products Boss has lost a potenial buyer. Had the situation gotten resloved I and anyone for that matter would be more inclined to buy more from them knowing that they will ake it right it there is problems Whats the saying? A happy customer is a customer for life?

Correction. The motor would be happier. He might like the way it runs restricting it.

lol nice.... Correct me if I am wrong but when I got those tires and wheels from you, you had not become a "dealer" for him yet, I were not even marking upp the prices at that time to make a few bucks. SO my whole oint is I bought the SET of tires and wheels from Boss, not from you, not from Skat Trak. So in the end it was his responsability to fix the problem and no one elses. Thats one of the reason I told you I didnt feel that you should have to refund me the money, an that I wanted to just fix it with Jason. But as you said, bro dont worry about it, I will have these things sold before this weekend.
-
Correction, the reason I was selling them was because I got left with them after the tires got refunded. I was selling them to get the full amount back to buy the other SET of wheels and tires. Yes they were 10x2 but this had zero to do with the fact that the wheels had problems. I didn

If I got the set from one place, lets say discount tire. You bet your ass I expect them to take the set back. Did they make the tire? No but they sold the tire and the rims TOGETHER as a set. There for it is THIER responsability not the tire manufactures. As I ave said before I took the wheels to have the bead fixed because one side didnt seat, and he saw right away that it wasnt a SLS, so to prove it rather then speciulte he popped it off the rim. I didn't magically decide I didnt want to go with 10x2 and now I wanted a refund. I didnt get the product I wanted and wanted a refund. And with that refund I was going to buy a set of wheels that where 10x2. You didnt eat anythning for what I recall. I paid you, you paid Jason. Then you refunded me and then sold the tires again. So no I didnt ask you to eat anything. Plus I was asking Boss to take the wheels and tires back, NOT you.

Well the way I see it is when you buy an mp3 player, if you get the wrong head phone the store isn

it's part of it I guess. I have my recent issues that I thought you didn't take care of as expected , but thats life. Things dont always go the way you wish. Does it make anyone a bad person? I dont think so. We are all differant people. some just have a little more time then others. Now back to the topic of this post

I do concur. A buddy sent his wifes 400ex shocks to TCS and had them redone, that thing rides like a sand caddy

the bottom one is a pretty good idea to have to help control the chain slap. Another option for the lower is to run a chain tensioner rather then the static roller Link

the pressure depends on the valving and what type of riding. When i had mine rebuilt it was set to like 600 psi. However that wasnt a stocker so the valving wont be the same. Just pump around 600 in it and try it out, you can always adjust the pressure to your likeing after you rebuild it
