  1. its one e BEOTCH! i dont do plug chops.. i just do like your saying run them a few passes and if the plug is dark then lean it out and try again... but for ppl that drag race they dont want to waste time and sacfirice power so the plug chop WILL get your jetting PERFECT vice being close enough
  2. very true but once your in there your in there you dont have to worry about it...your posed to start rich and move down... plugs are 1.89 per.. stop buying them at the bike shop and go to pep boys! mine bike is runing rich right now.. so id drop 2 jets more then likey and run a plug chop and go from there.. once im there then i dont have to worry about fouling plugs or being too lean...
  3. sounds like your clutch isnt adjusted right... mine was off too i had to readjust it casue mine did the same thing, after riding it hard and heating it up it didnt feel like it was shifting very smooth, got home and it was WAYoff. it got to the point that i put it in gear and it would rock foward and dead.. and if i pulled the clutch in first and kicked it over it would roll a lilbit...
  4. you shouldnt be able to see any discoloration at the bottom in that fast of a run... the carbon settles up inside the threads.... so you warm up on old plugs, put in new plugs pull a 6th gear and kill it wot and pull your plugs... throw your old ones back in a ride back and then cut them... if your "perfect" then when you cut the threads there will be a small brown ring about 2mm in size a little more then half way up the porciline. correction its not 2mm in size its 2mm up the thread is where it should be at..!!!

  6. ditch the reed spacers if your not running aftermarket carbs... what is the bike doing? also pull the plug and post a pict if you have a camera... then we an help u more
  7. what size carb? stock? whats your altitude temp and list anyother mods you got...
  8. he is talking about the same thing, only a plug chop you cut the threads off the plugs and see the little smoke ring on the porciline... should have a small ring 2mm big up i there... got a small hand held hacksaw and clap it in a vice if you got one... they arnt too hard to cut but the metal isnt by any means weak... you got to put a little umpff in that ass lol

  10. boost bottle dose nothing but puts unnessessary wieght on your carb boots casueing them to crack , which leans out your motor and will ruin your top end... a boost bottle is nothing more then a great paper weight. if your wanting more low end, get an adjustable timing plate and set it to +4 shave your head .020-.030 , get your self a set of vforce 3 reeds. i wouldnt suggest the lightened fly wheel... dosent sound like your doing alot of drag racing and that wat they are good for.

  15. first off ditch the boost bottle... dose nothing to help your motor run. spend your money on a adjustable timing plate
  16. aaron do your self a favor and shut the fuk up... its VERY CLEAR....YOUR the one that dosent know jack shit about 2 strokes.... if any thing a drag motor would be the mototr that "needs" your boost bottle theory. a motocross bike running a hole wopping 40 hp with nice soft shocks to jump is great. but the fact that a drag bike and DA's drag bike is putting out oh i dont know double if not more the hp your motor is, is proof enough that your beloved boost bottle isnt needed... 90% of the people on this site and planet sand will agree you are a fuking fool and that they are a waste.   17. dont listen to the guy above... he cant tell you what domes are good casue he dosent know your situation... what elevation and temps are you riding in? what mods are on your bike? what timing are you runing your bikeon? his domes dont mean jackshit to you if your in a differant climate or altitude

  19. not yet but i will be... i dune and drag, but im needing a +6 to control it when dragging... you can still dune on it just not hittin fat jumps...
  20. you got the same thing from shaving your head... only thing is you can chnge out your domes on the coolhead. and you are limited on how much compression your going to get out of your stocker...it all depends on how much your trying to gain weather or not its worth getting?
  21. its a metric, i want to say its 34mm or 36mm. it might end up being the exact same size as a stanard size, every few mectric sockets match the same standard ones.

  24. no one can tell you that... you got to get a compression tester and test it to see what kinda compression your runing...
  25. this time we wont let you leave until you learn to launch that fuker and rip over those whoops! bring some motrin cause your going to be in pain by the time we leave
