  1. i have heard nothing but good things for the lectrons...
  2. try getting some 20x10x8 10 paddle haulers on 8 inch rims... i got those and they hookup very nice i just read your mods... you probly need a 8 or 9 paddle of that size i dont think you have enough motor to pull 10 pads
  3. its not enough of a lose that you will feel it but like said it will be much louder.. you can get fmf packing for like 7 bucks or do like some members and go to homedepot or lowes and stockup on the fiber glass insulation you can get a BIG peice for like 15 and it would last for a long time but i dont want that shit laying around my house... id rather just buy it as i need it..
  4. just tape both side or plug them... the beads or sand is going it work its way in the cylinders a little either way so your going to need to clean them either way you go but you dont have to worry about the beads messing up your new hone...
  5. you dont "have" to have anything welded... its jst smart to becsaue it gives you that comfort knowing its there... if your crank was going to let go the porting isnt going to casue it... it can happen after you add any mod... the vito pistons are the same thing as weisco prolite but the intake ports on them are opened up slightly more... not much of a differance.. you would gte better gains out of a matched pistons rather then a pre determined cut one...
  6. best thing you could do is have that thing ported! but thats going to cost you at least 350 bones..
  7. i havent heard if a leaking pipes making it run rich...you didnt open your carbs or anything did you? if you did check and make sure you got matching jets... also make sure your float isnt sticking..
  8. id have to agree with loco... for that money you could have got a rubdub that spanked that thing...
  9. have you checked your gap at the pickup for your stator?
  10. no you should be good... unless your running a shitload of timing whcih your not your going ot be fine...
  11. i have heard some pretty good reports for rdz.... as far as the carbs go you think about lectrons? for the setup your tryng to get sounds like the right carbs for you... also for pipes shearers out of frames grr a few omre i cant think of off my head right now... for your questions on drag bike id hit up www.planetsand.com all the drag banshee talk goes on there...
  12. the 5mm is the extra length to the rods.. they are 5mm longer then stock... by adding the 5mm you reduce the angle that the pistons and rods are at when the motor fires... by doing this it take stress off the crank , bearings, rods.... pretty much all the guts..
  13. the uppers you can replace on some differant arms.. mine can be takin off and replaces... it all depends what kind of arms you got... check ebay you can find them on there im sure...
  14. the long rod makes the rods bearing and joint have less stress when the motor fires by reducing the angle on the pistons. how ever the long rod dose nothing to your dispalcment... the +4 stroker tkae the bottom end of the connecting rod and move it 4mm down on the crank... when the crank turns over now the rods are 4mm higher making your motor gain more dispalcement... but now your pistons have 4mm more hieght that has to be madeup for so you dont smack the head... you get 795 serises pistions or blaster pistons and the point where the rod connects is moved 2mm higher ... but you still got 2mm more to go to keep the pistons from smacking the head so you cut the domes 2mm to make up for it... all in all the longer rods make a more reliable motor by taking the stress of the cranks and componants ...
  15. you set your timing by the case halfs.... so on the plate the tick marks put the plate at +4 at the case halfs and tighten it down...
  16. you talking about the joints that connect the a-arms to your spindles or the joints that are on your tierods?
  17. it would be smarter to flush it with distilled water... tap water has alot of metal and crap in the water.. aluminum dosent rust or oxidize... but when water constantly passes over aluminum the friction by the minerals in the watser casues a buildup thats whiteish.... like when you pull your jugs and at the studs it kinda looks rusted.. thats the shit... using distilled water will help eleviate this by cuting down the amount of crap that can build the stactic electricity while the water is flowing ...
  18. is it new or used? and any motor work? new you should get 120-130...
  19. ya they can be rebuilt, thy just remove the small welded spot and punch it and replace the parts..
  20. there goes Polish ruining another weekend lol i dont have the money to stay as long as we did last time either... we origanally werent going to go at all but we fanagled and got our selfs a small trip...
