no do not drill the holes, if you read more that is for a differant motor... you need some many thousanths of gap per mm of bore... ifyour on a stock bore you need between .010 and .012 gap... put the ring in the cylinder and use the top of the piston to push it in flat.. get a feeler gauge and massuer the gap if youneed it biggr then what you hav get a fine file and take a vry small amount off both sides of the ring and do it again until you get the gap needed... id go with .011 gap .....

as far as sealing goes just put some yamabond or what ever it is your uing on both case halfs all the way aroung and in the small parts in the middle and you will get a good seal.. i use gearsaver 80w its pretty easy to rebuild... just go through the clymers and you will have it...

radiator just pop the lid and it should be at the top... tranny you got a dip stick on the right side pull it clean it put it back in then take a reading...

you get the timing plate your going to neeed a flywheel puller to get it on there... also if you havent ever pulled your flywheel theres a good chance you might strip it out
