  1. im wrapping the fenders.. you cant wrap the tank casue it wont stick... tomorrow if i remeber ill go in the garage and throw the tak and plastics on the frame and snap a shot...
  2. im too lazy to go down stairs and snap a shot but i just cut my rears to look kinda like lakers. and then my cut fronts that iv had for a while. with my IMS 4 gal tank... the cuts look good, just my PC doesnt match now so im getting the wrap...
  3. they might be, i thought they where forged...
  4. its all rider prefferance... more timing means more bottom end at the sacirfice of top... id say get a dyna and run it from 4-7 that way your dyna will advance the crap out of it at low and retard it to get that top back...
  5. yea with out a dought you can get in there and tinker around with no problems... im all about it being purrrrdy though.
  6. humm what year is your bike? my stock coil is two differant size terminals. so you cant swap them...
  7. looks stupid with nothing on the rear
  8. this is the first time i have heard this... if you size the two plugs up they are not the same size.. so you cant switch them... the only way to get a better spark is to get a better coil, I.E. Nology or MSD or something of that sort.
  9. i hope your kidding, wiesco are without a dought the best piston you can buy, they will last for several seasons you just got to do your regular maintance... ok so you cant start your bike and rip off or you can cold seize the motor... big deal... start the bike while putting on your gear and warm it up. problem solved. if your buddys are blowing a topend once a year its cause they arent warming up the motor. namura and pro x are both forged pistons as well so your not going to get anything differant from them...
  10. its 2 wider and 2 foward making your wheel base longer and wider
  11. i cant see the picts at work but you should look at doing the rears too... thakes alot of strees off the plastics so you dont get the white stress marks.
  12. never mind i found it... they have the tank cover listed under sidecover... thnx though
  13. ok guys alba's oem parts finder does not list a part i am looking for. anyone know of somewhere that has the tank cover plastics and the long rubber part listed with refferance numbers?
  14. Majic Mike sells the Tusk ones for pretty cheap.
  15. i dont recall the vitos being shorter.. how ever i know that the intake ports on the pistons have been opened up quite a bit from weisco pro lites. problem with this is if your clearances arent right you can get some play in the piston and casue it to hang on the wall
  16. if you pull your intakes off and take a look in there there are several edges that need to be removed. you also need to cleanup the transfers.its more then something emory cloth would remove.
  17. those rings are made by the hundereds at a time, it isnt uncommon for the "same size" rings to be not the same.... as long as your gap is correct and your piston clearances are good you should have nothing to worry about
  18. if u got the 2's sick with them... just make sure you loctite the little screws.. one of those comesout and your in for a hurtin..
  19. that sounds close, i think i got my 35's for 144 each from jeff at FAST 785-364-5325
  20. jeff at fast sells the boss and white knuckle racing intakes. 785-364-5325 call mike he sells his. 720-628-1668
  21. before this rebuilt i was running stock bore 795 pro lites with 4mil at 145* on 22 domes... squish was like .035 your buddy is the only person i have ever heard of thats run 92 oct on comrpession of 170.... i simply dont see how... at 150-155 i start running 50/50 anything past 165 range straight race gas... this is an on going topic but for the extra few bucks it cost to get race gas, i know its not going to detonate and fuk up my brand new motor, im not bothering with some 92.
  22. i use a white knuckle racing billet intake. it has the built in crossover and that "bullseye" crap in there.... they clear the clutch arm. might look into them... boss , white knuckle, mod quad and a few others all clear it. if your set of the vitos callthem and ask them if these clear the lever...
  23. hotrods come welded, however its a good ide to have it re-welded. the factory weld arnt very good.
  24. well i went with quicksand, all i can say is as long as your swingers dont take as long to get as his you got some big business coming your way.. i have been waiting over 2 months for my +6 chrome swinger. i have called and talked to him a few times but all he keeps saying is its at the chromer and it should be ready soon... i know that quality parts take time but... a swinger... 2 and a half months? no sorry .... so dont over welm your self so you can keep them rooling out and you got it made...
