  2. once you pipe it and remove the lid you need to be running 300 mains 27.5 pilots needle 3rd or 4th clip air screw 2 turns out
  3. are you talking about the impeller gear?
  4. look up a pro flow adaptor. it will fit a large k&n under there. there is plastic and billet ones. although i hate alba they have the plastic ones for really cheap.
  5. just change your plastics lol thnx
  6. well i called and talked to the police dept in belleville and the lady is having a police officer call me back. so ill keep you guys posted on what happens
  7. climb, what does your plug chop look like before the porting? if your a little rich chances are your new port will fall right into where it needs to be.. you "shouldnt" need to go that big for a trail port.
  8. remove your carbs intakes and reeds and just clean them... spin the motor over so you can take a look inside as much as you can to check for scaring. chances are unless alot got by you didnt hurt anything.
  9. im assuming your talking about the little black wire in the second pict thats off to the right side? sry i dont recall where it soilders too. you might send blowit or Snopczynski a message... they understand electrical pretty well, i know its your ground but i dont know where it goes
  10. i didnt even realize you had picts posted... one sec let me look at your picts and see if i can figure out what your talking about...
  11. you can but its a HUGE goat rope trying to get the permit
  12. there should be another black wire coming out of your wiring harness that it plugs into. this isnt going to make your light come back on but it could have been a culprit in blowing them out.
  13. i have a really hard time with speling and punctuation and all that becasue i dont read jack, cept for things online and we all know that ppl use slang and dont spell things right. well once i got into my english comp 1 and 2 i had a hard time adapting. i was very dependant on spell check,. the problem is i use words that are spelled right but not for the sentence they are used in, so spell check dosent always catch them. i hated school so much that i never planned on going back, so i joined the Marines. well 6 years later and alot of growing up on my part, i began to have dreams. and i realized these dreams would stay just that if i didnt get an education. so i started going to school. i am almost done with my freshman courses, and to tell you the truth it hasnt been all that hard. it was just a matter of growing up and understanding that as much as it may suck at the moment the rest of my life and my kids lifes will benifit from me not being a lazy asshole for a few weeks here and there.
  14. how old are you ed? i didnt realize you had a problem with it!
  15. you dont need a bigger radiaotr for a banshee. the stock radiator will cool it more then enough. get a billet impeller and run distilled water and Redline watter wetter or Engine Ice and you wont have any worries. if your over heating its becasue you either have a plugged radiator or other problems. save your 400 bucks and spend it else where
  16. if your riding tracks you dont want to add extra length hanging off the rear. if any thing stay stock or take some off. the purpose of a longer swinger is to help hold the front end down and to help keep the power to the ground when you build a bigger motor. but they are not good for jumping.
  17. was that in referance to me?
  18. there are a arm conversion kit out there but your going to have to weld it to your frmae....i cant find the sit right now and im about to log but im sure someone else hs the link
  19. for a pipe motor air box lid removed and reeds you should be at 300-310 main 27.5 pilot needle 3rd or 4th clip 2 turns out on air screw... tht will get you very close.
  20. TrailMonkey I didn
  21. this is another one of those war topics... i have never seen that they do any thing to add power. they how ever do great to move your aftermarket carbs away from the clutch actuator. Snop claims he saw a .4 hp gain at max rpm or something like that. but he is the ONY person i have heard claim that he has actually put it on a dyno and had differance in numbers. everyone else just repeats what they have read.
  22. chances are they are regular shocks
  23. heat is the best way, depending on how bad they are will depend on how much you can get out...
  24. the idea of a stroker is very old, basically your taking a crank and moving the location of where the rod connect to the webs and moving them down. making the stroke of the motor more. stroke being the distance the piston travels inside the cylinder. so moving the location x number of mm will add double the stroke becasue its now traveling that dist down and up... this allows more power to be generated out of a smaller motor. theres a few things that have to be taken into concideration but we wont go over those right now. the long rod doesnt nothing for added power. it simply releave stress on your internal parts by changing the angle of the rods when the fuel is ignited during the power stroke. this is taken up by moving the wrist pin the same distance further into the piston so it does not puch out the top of your head... the link you posted is over priced. you can get a hotrods for like 400 bucks. then get you some 795 series weisco pistons. (assuming you got a long rod)
