  1. They only throw stuff at ya while turning. When you're going straight it's all thrown beside you. Those front fenders are like parachutes and will catch air at high speeds. Sometimes we ride gravel roads and several times my fenders would catch air and shoot the front end straight up when topping a hill. I've always avoided mud like the plaque anyway, but if you ride in it a lot and don't do any high speed jumping I'd say keep the fenders. Otherwise, hack em off!
  2. Well, my next question is where's the cheapest place to get the EZpull setup other than Ebay?
  3. I'd be willing to trade with a little cash on top for ya. PM me if interested. It's yellow/purple, but used fenders are fairly cheap so make it whatever color ya want. Mods are listed in signature.
  4. Once you've done it a couple times there's nothing to it. Now if you want a challenge get the Trinity C.V. kit with the airbox adapter.
  5. Yeah, but last I looked the clutch is on the left.
  6. I'm right-handed.
  7. I've had to go up to heavy duty clutch springs and now my lever is real hard to pull. What are some solutions? I was thinking of an EZ pull clutch lever but I don't hear much about them and RMATV doesn't sell them anymore.
  8. Don't junk the box unless you are on the dunes all the time. You have to remove your rear plastic to get it in and out. Remove rear plastic, take out 2 bolts, loosen clamps on carbs, push the airbox towards the carbs compressing the rubber boots, lift the rear of the airbox up and over the mounts, pull it straight out the top. It took me a while to figure it out too.
  9. http://www.trinityracing.com/products/yama...cvmanifold.html That page lists your options.
  10. Yeah, just get the airbox adapter and you're good. I wouldn't recommend the K&N. There are a few mods you have to do to the airbox but nothing major. It should come with instructions.
  11. Isn't it Tim Gorr who does the MX/Woods porting that everyone here likes? How long do you think it takes to get your cylinders back? It's $200 right?
  12. I don't particularly see why they would last 6 times longer if they are made of the same material and are cut to the same thickness, and I don't see them being worth the trouble when you can get a set from RMATV for $15-$20. On the other hand, if you have spare car brake pads laying around this would be a good use instead of throwing them away.
  13. I had 13/44 gearing and could pop it up in any gear (although 6th took some effort). It definately helps with wheelies.
  14. They look alright to me butI like the classic look better. As long as you like it that's what matters.
  15. Maier race fronts are only $60. The fronts are pretty cheap, it's the rears that are outrageous. Also, it's kinda hard to tell what condition they are in in the pic. Are the scratched or faded any? Thanks for the offer, please reply.
  16. How much ya want for em?
  17. I need full rear fenders. Thanks though. Lemme know what kinda condition the fronts are in.
  18. Yes, I know I just posted an ad asking for black fenders but I'm prepaired to settle for blue ones. With blue being Yamaha's color it's easier to find and it will look almost as good as black with the yellow. I'm just looking for the front and rear fenders. Race fronts are fine. Thanks!
  19. Thanks but I'm really looking for black.
  20. How good of shape is the grab bar and bumper in? Will the 15t sprocket fit on a Banshee? 50t?? I didn't know they even made em that big.
  21. Well I'm all for striking a deal, but I think the frame might be worth a little more than that. Plus the bumper isn't exactly the kind I want (looking for the AC look). Presuming the pipe clamps are clamps and not sleeves I definately need those though. You have anything else up for grabs?
  22. How much for the case saver?
  23. Nah, I could take one though. It's in good shape and is red.
  24. Good deal. Just shoot me a PM when you're ready to sell and I'll let you know if I've gotten anything. Thanks.
