  1. If it was a regular petrolum base oil it would be ok. I would run the 250r about out of fuel and then drain the rest out. Then do the switch. Caster Oil and Petrolum base oils dont mix. If you mix the two oils with out gas they will seperate. I dont know wheather or not they will do that if they are premixed with gasoline. I would just empty the 250r out to be on the safe side.
  2. Nology Coil and Hot Wires from Jeff at FAST. I noticed my banshee started a little easier after I installed them on mine. Nology Hot Wires and Coil from FAST LINK
  3. No fmf power core's or power core 2's dont have spark arrestors. If you want a spark arrested fmf silencer you have to buy the FMF Turbine Core 2's. When I switched from Power Cores to Turbine cores you couldnt tell a difference in power. Turbine core 2's are a good spark arrested silencer.
  4. Most People that run Keihin carbs run 158-150 main. And 45-48 pilot jet. You dont need those power jets. The only people that run those are the alachol people. Dont rely on that power jet to suply fuel. Jet the carbs first then use the power jet to add alittle fuel if you need it.
  5. Keihin doesnt make a 36mm PWK. It is ethier a 35mm PWK or the older 36mm PJ carb.
  6. The grease zerk is to fill the carrier full of grease. Onece it is full you give it a couple of pumps and it forces grease into the bearings. It has nothing to do with keeping the sleeve lubercated on the axle.
  7. Or NOT mentioned your bro's 700. Well i would have thought you were talking about a banshee but you said you were looking around for your brothers 700.
  8. I just got me a new Pro Design Inline cooler. Hopefully it works. Pro Design Inline Cooler on Ebay LINK
  9. Acording to this the dual alien setup for the raptor 700r isnt very good. Raptor 700 Dual Exhaust Review LINK
  10. Grease up the o rings with a little vasoline. That helps hold the orings in place while your installing the head.
  11. You clutch kit should have came with both sets. I got a set of the standard ones. The are the shorter gold colord ones. josh
  12. 800 bucks I would do a 4mill stroker crank and have the cylinders reported for the crank if they have not been ported to far for the 4mill crank.
  13. I was just giving you a hard time. A Loan Shark. They are like the mafia. You barrow money from them. When they want there money back you give it to them or you end up swimming with the Fishs.
  14. Nothing like saving a little money now and have it endup costing you way more in the long run. :yelrotflmao:
  15. What Happen Loan Shark say give me my $250 or 3 of your fingers by friday?
  16. Or just get some gips that have the billit bar end plug that goes through them, and have a little billit aluminum ring that clamps down up by the flange on the grip. ODI Atv Grips LINK
  17. Bel Ray makes a waterproof grease. I use Valvoline Syn Power. Synthetic Grease. Good stuff.
  18. What kind of stator did you buy. Ricky Stator is starting to get a bad name because of this problem. Did you adjust the pickup coil gap on the stator after installing it? josh
  19. try switching the spark plug wires around. If the problem moves over to the other cylinder after doing the switch then your coil is bad. josh
  20. I had my top end coated by Swain Tech. PC-9 on the skirts, TBC on the Piston Heads, and Domes. I had the same problem with mine. siezed during break in process. Out riding on gravel road. Let off the throttle and the back tires just lockup. So I snapped the clutch a few times to get it to free up. Then pulled over to let it cool. Started it up and putted back home. Pulled my cool head off. No scratches or marks that I could see. Fast Forward 20 Hrs of run time later. I decide to do a leak down test. Just because. It has been running fine but just to give me some confidance it is all sealed up. Do the leak down test and find a tiny leak under the LH Cylinder. So I tear it down and find this. I am petty sure that it happend because it was a little on the tight side when I put the engine together. In the pic of the cylinder you can see just a tiny bit of aluminum transfered to the sleeve. That is the only damage that happned to the cylinders. The PC-9 is probably what helped save my cylinders. There isnt a scratch other than the little bit of aluminum. RH Piston and Cylinder. LH Piston (Same Side as TINY air leak)
  21. Same here I run them with my boss racing intake. The work good. I dont know if they would be worth it if your running stock carb boots. But they are great with larger aftermarket intaks. josh
  22. I would just wait and get pod filters for the 33's. Using an air box with pwk33's or any other larger carb is a pain in the butt.
  23. You can do what ever you want. It is out of my Hands
  24. I am wondering the same thing. guess its not a USA thing
  25. Hay thanks. I built it to some what resemble the last verson that yamaha will sell in the usa.
