Has anybody here ever done any internal engine coatings? I had some of this coating left over from when i did my raptor piston. It is called CBC and it is made by techline coatings. I just did the inside of the combustion chamber. You don't want to do the back side of the domes that would keep the coolant from cooling the head/domes, or trap the heat in. I have all 3 and plan on doing my pistons when i get a chance. They have the DFL wich is the grey or black coating you see on different brands of piston skirts. Then they have some wsx stuff that your supose to rub in to the cross hatch. I am not really looking for it to cause a big power increase just keep the heat in the gasses instead of soaking in the the engine (head and piston) Here is the link. http://www.techlinecoatings.com/Engine.htm I will post some pics later.

I know this is a banshee site but here goes. Yamaha Raptor 660R Hydro Clutch. It may fit other applications but i dont know wich ones. According to dennis kirks web page it fits 2001-2005 Raptor 660, 2006 Raptor 700, and 1988-2006 Blaster. I have a Magura "Jack" Hydro Clutch for sale. It comes with a silver ASV C5 Lever, and a blue ASV rotator clamp. The ASV C5 lever is there top of the line lever. You can adjust it to fit your hand size as well. I also have a bleed kit and an extra bottle of magura blood that goes with it. This set up is in great condition. I dont have any pictues but I can get some in about a week if they are needed. Well i was just kind of wanting a starting guide line. It is a lot easier jetting when you start out with a stock machine and you do the jettting your self. You kind of get a feel for what you should be running. That way each mod you do you jump up the jet size, compaired to jumping in head first with ton of mods. josh

The guy i bought my banshee from put an automotive temp gauge in the handle bar clamp.

If you wanted to put a thermostat on you could probably splice in a ratpro thermostat set up. You could aslo probably hook up an electric automotive temp gauge up too. It has a place for a temp sensor. josh Raptor Thermostat housing

I am new to banshees. I have a raptor and did all the jetting on it my self. I just bought a used banshee. It is already jetted for the mods that it has now. I need to switch the silencers from the FMF SST Power Core 2 to the FMF SST Turbine Core 2, because the trails that I ride on require a spark arrestor. Do you think I will need to rejet? Here is the current motor mods FMF SST Pipes with Power Core 2 Silencers 20cc domes Delta Force 2 Reeds MX porting with .020 over pistons PJ 34mm Carbs Pro Designe K&N with no air box lid Timing set at +3.5 deg Altitude 2000 to 2500 feet above sea level It runs great how it is now, the only thing I will be changing is the silencers. Do you think i will need to rejet? What would you guess the jetting would be for these mods? I don't have any idea because I just got the machine 2 days ago. I really apprecate your guys help.
