  1. Chris.. you bored my motor.. you still want to inspect it?? lmao Unfortunately.. Mine wont be ready until LS or Next season...
  2. I've got a mattoon with less then 1hr actual ride time on it starting to groove. Its not bad, but i wasn't expecting to see any wear with this amount of time. I hope this is just a few isolated incidents. I've had great luck with mattoon products and customer service. Your pictures didn't show. Try again please.
  3. pics didn't work.. also.. I think you should have this moved to product review.
  4. damn you guys... your making me want to get the 350 going again.. lol
  5. Bitches be hating!!!
  6. maybe labor day i'll get in on this.. i got a few tricks up my sleeve for the 3fidy. perhaps even a lil tuning.. lmao def not making labor day for me.
  7. Ultra light huh.... I like light.....
  8. apparently what happend.. is he got screwed on another site by this guy..and tracked him back to this site.. Thats what i'm getting from this atleast.
  9. the dome angle needs to be corrected for the blaster piston. plating the cylinder is going to cost about 300-350 for the set. http://mt-llc.com/
  10. if it were me.. and it was a stockish bike. I'd put cast pistons in. Pro-X, ART or WSM. I've never seen a wiseco go 10+ yrs like I have cast.. Proper bore setup is critical for either type piston.
  11. he's questionable at best.. i heard he bangs grizzlies...
  12. as long as your using a long rod crank, WSM makes a 66.5 forged long rod piston. Or, if your stuck on wiseco, 573MO6650 but.. you'll have to get new domes or have the head rechambered. If its a setup your looking to keep for a while.. then plating or re sleeve would be the other options.
  13. i'm using one with no issues as of yet.
  14. Sounds like you were back loading.
  15. I agree. I find it funny that there is so many people who say Wiseco is the only option and dont even consider a cast piston. each has its place. I ran them in my 55-60hp duner with no problems.
  16. I use the platinum pistons in"stockish" bikes with no failures yet. I got them in about 14 bikes right now and all running strong.. I probably wouldn't use them in anything like what we build.
  17. Bobby, there is cheap WSM Platinum pistons that are cast. The forged pistons are actually more money then the wiseco's. They are good pistons and I've had great luck with them. I think i was paying 199 a set for my cub.
  18. I got to get it PC'd and some chrome work done. Chrome is 3 weeks out from what I heard.. Whats sorry.. is the motor has been done for 2yrs.. lol
  19. I might also have a lil guy that wants to race. Junior class might be nice.
  20. i'm 90% sure my junk wont be ready.. crossing m fingers to make us27..
  21. I think its been messed with for a long time.. just no one wanted to openly discuss their "trade" secrets. I've been tinkering a bit.. but not as indepth as some. I'm just a dune racer who occasionally goes to a track for TNT and even then.. I dont tune.. I just make passes. So you wont see any data books on my setups. I'm not that hardcore. I got some theories on clutch setup and have gotten pretty good results at the track in the past for being a dune racer. Good topic and good info for sure. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MINI-VALVE-SPRING-TESTER-NEW-PROFORM-0-300-LBS-/370607784786?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item5649f20352&vxp=mtr#ht_1544wt_910
  22. I'd use a wossner.. I typically use WSM pistons. I only use Wiseco's if thats my only option.
  23. 7mil stroke is the most you can go without extensive cylinder work.
