This isn't true. The intakes need to properly match the reed cages.. Some intakes use round opening.. others use square. Best intake in my opinion is the chariots. They offer intakes to perfectly match their ages as well as VF2 and VF3 cages. They also use genuine mikuni boots.

He didn't say anything about the rods.. he just said that a billet crank isn't any better then forged. In other words.. put them junk rods on a billet crank.. and it will still be junk.

my 350 was running 4.6's 4.8's at phils.. dont know how accurate that is or not.. It was completely out of tune on a shit weather day... I think I can get the 350 down into the 4.2's-4.3's with some actual tune time and proper setup. My 421 was running low 4.1's at 3 different tracks in the stock chassis and no bar. My fastest pass with the big motor was 3.89. I'm still working on the tune.. Turns out I had a air leak and my stator plate came loose that I didn't know about.. So I need to start over on my tune. Oh.. and i'm 200lbs.

tooshe' I forgot how much fun the lil 350's were until last year. It was nice being lined up 15 wide on a off holiday weekends again. Felt like the old days.
