  1. American Star Racing.. Never had a set but heard good things about them. See them for sale alot in dirt wheel's adds
  2. I believe the earlier models didn't work with larger carbs. I had the 36a i think and I they didn't run very well with my 35 pwk. If I remember right the intake neck on the rad fits perfect into the stock manifold and since I had a bigger manifold for the 35 pwk it must have caused some type of turbulance from the dead space around that intake neck. I'm not a scientist or anything just my take on that whole problem. Put stock cages back in it ran great. ran better once I put the V-Force in.
  3. I had GYT-R for awhile and it worked well. I switched to Duncan Fatboy4 and it seemed to have more low-end with about the same mid but pulled a little harder on top. Heard good things about Dr.D, Sparks and CT's Sonic also
  4. Had one in my 250r, Worked great
  5. For performance go with the wiseco, if your looking for somthing with longer life try Pro-X Had my Pro-X for 2 seasons now and still look great. but loose alittle HP
  6. I'll second the Tusk kit. I put a set in my 250r and it worked great, its also dirt cheap. I think it was like $35 or somthing like that. Dont ask me how long it lasted because about a month after I put it in I hit a 660 grizzly head on in the trails and totaled the bike... sold it a week later. Grizzly only got a bent front bumper and rack.
  7. I worked at a yamaha dealer, and if the dealer does the frame change they're supposed to stamp the vin in the frame. Dont quote me on it but I think its Illegal if they dont. I know we had to. Could just be company policy though..
  8. I got the T2 bar kit brand new on ebay for $100 I've seen Tag bar clamps for banshee going for around $30 or so latley Tag makes a great set of bars. I have also have the X-5 on my 450
  9. I used Boyesen Carbon pro's on stock cage and they worked well. Heard good things about carbon tech reeds, can choose tension for riding style. As far as valves go I used afew of them. Started with RAD valves, worked well on stock motor and carbs then I got V-Force2's , noticed big difference over the RAD but I think I had the first version to the RAD that didn't work with my new 35mm carbs. Then I got pyramid valves performed same as the V-force for me but not worth the price unless you can get them cheap. I would say my vote goes for V-force3
  10. What I think will happen is that yamaha will slowly stop making parts for it one part at a time. I'm guessin they'll start around 10 years after production stops. I used to work in the parts department at a yamaha dealer and people would want parts for like a 72 street bike and some parts would be available still while others weren't. So I think yamaha will follow in that same line with the banshee. But with the aftermarket following of the banshee there's really no need for OEM parts. I think Yukon makes a trans set for a banshee?
  11. I've had the pryamids for about 3 yrs now and I havn't had any problems with the reeds. I had V-force2's before the pyramids and I didn't notice any power increase or decrease. So i'm not gonna vouch for the power of the Pyramids because I didn't notice a increase over the V-force but I will say they did hold up. Just my opinion
