  1. what do you mean TORS is off the stock carbs? the TORS removal kit is installed or they are just disassembled? and damn i missed those cylinders.
  2. only thing about the LTR shocks is the way the ressy is mounted on them. there might be some clearance issues. i think i will give the Z400 shocks a try. they are cheap enuf.
  3. me too, loose as a goose around the gas tank.
  4. i've got one also. sending PM
  5. i'm thinking about trying some different front shocks, just to test them out and see whats what. i can get some KFX/Z400 shocks in good condition for about $65 shipped. (about 16.5") i can also get some TRX450 shocks for a little over $200 shipped. (about 16.75") any other models you guys can think of that i could look for, cheap, that will measure 16.5" or more?
  6. get the titanium one, they are the best and most expensive. you do get what you pay for!
  7. i know where a ragged on piece of shit tired wont spin the tires on a snowy road j-arm shee is for $950 :yelrotflmao:
  8. doesnt work that good. we tried that with an F-250 e-cab, some stock honda wheels and tires. we ended up having to cut the tires off the rims with a sawzall and side cuts for the wires at the beed. what a PITA! i swear the tires were welded on the rims! sons o bitches did not want to come off.
  9. i just happened across the shock bushings the other day, now i cant remember where it was.
  10. what do the hoses do? (excuse the newb question) are they vacuum actuated or something?
  11. Superman is a pussy, he fell off a horse, broke his back, then died a few years later. my Jedi Knights dont need horses. plus my Superman undeys will not come clean. you thought those K&N's were a PITA....
  12. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...dFamilyId=16045 ModQuad: stainless shaft, billet impeller http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...odFamilyId=5791 ProDesign: stainless shaft, billet impeller $30 price difference at RMATV carry on...
  13. are your plastics Rhyno lined (or some sort of spray on bed liner)?
  14. i keep a handfull of Jedi Knights on reserve in the filter area. they attack flinging crap at will! but seriously tho, i use the Precharger over a proflow foam filter (no airbox). havent had to clean it yet, where as i have had to extensively clean the entire bike of crap instead. and i do play in the mud and flooded river bottoms, without issue so far!
  15. i use mine in mud/dirt/sand/snow/water etc.etc. i havent had any issues with clogging or what not. its actually amazing how little the amount of "crap" even gets near the filter, let alone on it. especially when the entire bike is covered in crap.
  16. wire cup brush or wire wheel and a corded or cordless drill. hand sanding would work also...but why, if you have power tools. bare metal in 20m for 1 full expansion chamber. then wipe them down with kerosene or gasoline or something that evaporates quickly. then wipe again with a clean/new terry towel and paint 'em with HT paint. then perform the heat cycles to cure the paint.
  17. oh yeah, well i'm going to retrofit YFZ upper frame rails!!!
  18. son of a whore. 2-3 weeks ago and i would have bought it for sure! this would have saved me alot of headaches ($). be sure to update the thread if and when it sells, if its still around in a week or 2, i just might anyway.
  19. word. this is an old topic, wish i had seen it earlier!
  20. cool, thanks for the info!
  21. i tell ya what, the IMS pegs are like glue lol. i'm not even exagerating! i let a couple buddies ride it and all they could say was "damn, my feet do not move". come to think of it, now that i have 2 blasters, i am pretty sure i have an extra shifter. di you have to bend it to fit at all?
  22. right on and your avatar girl
  23. looks good man. blaster pegs go cheap on EBAY, even the IMS ones. i just put some Blaster IMS pegs with kickups on mine. but then i flipped them left to right, right to left (had to cut off the Blaster rear brake mount on the right peg so it cleared the shifter on the left). i did this until i get a short shifter, then i will flip them back over and get the different positioning. i had to, went riding yesterday. i had to do the same as you for the spacer on the right, cept i had some old factory exhaust manifold studs from my Z28 that had the correct size spacers already on them. works out good. do you notice it being kind of a PITA to kickstart it now?
  24. yep, i know i'll still need it, so send one my way. (e-mail in my profile, MSN messager handle) i have an '88 and an '01 harness, if there is any differences. thanks guys!
  25. share it with me if you get one. please and thank you.
