  1. cool, thanks for the ides  what is recommended to use for sanding them?
  2. the swede after the fight. "he hits fucking hard!" LOL Couture vs. CroCop
  3. so i picked up 2 blasters for the G/F. one of them is an '88. the plastics look to have 2 coats of paint on them. i want to get down to the original purple color (she likes purple). whats a good chemical too remove paint without muffing up the plastic? paint thinner? mineral spirits? if i can get down to the original without screwing the plastics up, this will save me a good chunk of change!
  4. yea, i am in the same boat. its not at the top of my list but eventually i will try and make it work.
  5. recommended as a great seller! parts just as described. even through in a carb, that looks damn near mint. plus some extra main jets! and gave a tracking# i couldnt ask for a more smooth transaction. Thanks kiddo
  6. i wouldnt think it be all that difficult, seeing as sleds mostly come with twin cylinders/carbs. shouldnt be all that bad adapting the cable over... there is alot of these throttles on EBAY
  7. print out a copy or 2 of your auction. then call Judge Judy.... http://thatvideosite.com/video/3996 the shipping problem is their fault, they need to honor the sale! hang'em high

  9. EDIT: oops, topic should say a-arm and shock issue :shoothead: figured it would just be easier to start a new one with pics at the beginning pictures for this thread here... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=73475 http://i11.tinypic.com/2ic1x76.jpg http://i15.tinypic.com/482qez7.jpg http://i11.tinypic.com/303k13n.jpg http://i15.tinypic.com/2d8jk00.jpg http://i10.tinypic.com/2w51qb8.jpg http://i5.tinypic.com/4bp1hn9.jpg http://i17.tinypic.com/3150uc9.jpg
  10. 1 small thing you can do, is with all the nuts and bolts that have extra thread protruding, cut off all the excess on everyone you can get to. also, search on here for wiring harness, and cut it down to the bare minimum. i saw an aluminum swinger on ebay a while back but it didnt specify if it was for drag only. it was gusseted pretty well but it would be iffy IMO for MX use...(it looked nice tho lol). i think cascade has aluminum pegs? (check rocky mountain atv). do you have to use plastics for MX? lol. if not , cutoff plastic supports. light aluminum bumpers. might be able to find aluminum lug nuts somewhere? keep the gas level at a bare minimum when racing. galfer type wave rotors have less material then stock disks. ditch the parking brake BS. use pod filters (the foam type are extremely light) anyone know if the trinity single carb setup weighs less then duals? i would think the Graydon single setup weighs a tad less then trinity. big money for some aluminum hubs. ported jugs will help with power and minimal weight savings i think that cool head type heads weigh less then stock does. (maybe, could be wrong about that)
  11. anyone ever tried a snowmobile throttle? you use more of your palm then your thumb its a half cup shape that is squeezed over the grip
  12. this thread needs stickied. very informative

  14. could a-arms on the wrong side cause issues?
  15. i suggest buying one of each set and then doing a side by side comparison you might like one better then the other.
  16. i've noticed that in yours and locos sig pictures, whats the idea behind trimming out the narrow rows of knobs?
  17. so its a ceramic powder coat, with a gloss like smooth finish, not textured? the reason i havent done this yet, is the texture, way too hard to keep clean. if you can clean it.
  18. if you like and buy it, i will take the grill in your sig
  19. Springfield, hey whats up. if anyone wants pics of it, i could probably run by and get some if its OK with the seller
  20. i dont know about sounding fishy, but it sure does smell fishy lol btw, fix your sig, some teetees are missing
  21. did you try and contact the guy i told you about in the last topic of yours?
  22. i'm gonna say probably right around ~300 miles from Springfield IL to INDY it is about 160 miles if you are serious, PM me and i will give you the owners phone#. he is willing to meet up (might be willing to deliver, but i dont know for sure at your distance, you would have to ask him).
  23. yeah, hes a good guy. he sent me a small part i needed for measurement when i was doing the YFZ thing, on his dollar. (speaking of, i can finally return it to him now LOL )
