  1. i wear one while walking down the street. j/k i have been looking at getting one also, i kind of like this one... http://www.rockymountainatv.com/viewLarger...che_pro_blk.jpg
  2. he must have the lime green powerbands
  3. sounds like a wild ride. be careful out there man.
  4. you will need to compress the shock some to get it in there. no big deal. it helps to back the upper spring lock nuts (the 2 large gold rigns on top of the springs) almost all the way off the threads. this will relieve some tension on the spring. might even be able to back them all the way off the threads so there is no tension on the spring. then rethread them on once you have the shock bolted in. and yes, where your marks are drawn on the upper shock mount, should be enuf. IMO when removing material, its best to remove a little at a time and test fit the shock a couple times until you get just the right amount removed. no worries man. your Banshee is just like every other Banshee.
  5. its when you spray your friends with loose debris like sand/gravel/dirt off the rear tires, purposeful loss of traction. this can lead to "roost wars" between you and your riding buddies, because revenge is a dish best served dirty.
  6. i'm fixing to fix it for now i've been working since the monday after it happened but i think i am still not ready to ride again...yet. just trying to acquire parts that i need, i'm not even ready to actually wrench on (look at) it.
  7. i PM'd him on Sat. also, with my number, havent heard back....
  8. thats always a possibility. gonna see how the possible trade turns out. shoot me an offer tho
  9. i dont need the spacers either, just the arms. i've already got spacers. let me know what ya decide. i dont want to put you out, so dont think i'm special (like all my school teachers did). altho a black pair would be tits
  10. wanna trade a set of arms for a set of cylinders and pistons?
  11. topic says it. cylinders are nice and ready to go. i need some YFZ a-arms to fix my Banshee
  12. http://i16.tinypic.com/48n7dw9.jpg
  13. some are some arent. i didnt/dont. how many aftermarket arms using heims come with dust caps? yes thats rhetorical  i'm just wondering if i get royalties of his sales J/K....well kind of lol
  14. nice, i like how the spacer is integrated into the sleeve.
  15. http://216.37.204.206/wps/Yamaha_OEM/Yamah...;A=317&B=25 yfz front susp. parts diagram.
  16. upper ball joint isnt replaceable. you shoud be able to replace the boot however, maybe, with a boot from your stock arms...(not sure tho). or from a dealership. lower joint, try an open end wrench that fits snuggly around it and pry, while tapping (sometimes means beating the piss out of) it with a hammer or mallet, preferably one with a lifetime replacement warranty. dont forget to repack them good with grease. EDIT:above post about replacing the upper ball joints, interesting info. i would think it would have too be cut out and then a ball joint with snap rings or something would be the replacement...
  17. and the world is flat. no one sticks Chevy motors into Ford vehicles. in the Salem Witch Trials, there actually were Witches! how much experience do you have with YFZ parts on a Banshee? YFZ shocks alone raise the bike, YFZ shocks and arms lower the bike. so now how much room does that leave one too play with? only the people that try it, know.
  18. or use for a go-kart project  any interest? will throw in a nice stock carb as well $500 shipped. (complete) $550 shipped with new, still in packages, primary drive chain and sprocket set
  19. they want $85 for that thing and cannot even spell Banshee correctly? lol
  20. what price were you refering too? btw, i have a pair of '04-'05 tie rods for YFZ. i'll sell them much cheaper then Roll Design or Laegers or anybody else :ninja:
  21. the D.O.H. theme song makes that video. ....question, i would say adrenaline and shear lack of skill is why the majority get caught.
