  1. It's not that hard to take the gears off and replace what ever ones you want too change. Thats also an RZ trans, and there not plentiful as the banshee trans. So it might be hard to find them ratios he would need. So Tiaan, just sell it all to me . Drum forks and gears...lol thanx
  2. Well, ive heard a few people say that there pro design ones shear off sometimes randomly. But also heard a few people say theres was fine. Ive run the mod quad one for a good while and have never had a problem or heard anything bad about them or ones shearing off. The chariot ones look very nice and beefy also, but ive never run one before so i cant say. Theres reviews of all 3 on here also.
  3. Welcome man, looks like a good trade to me. Basically anything you need or want to know is right here. Also all the parts and advise you could ever think of too.
  4. I ran them for a couple years lil while ago. Never had a problem with them at all. Cheap to buy, simple to work on and they work well. No need to take the carbs out to change the main, pilot or needle what so ever which is kinda nice. I think i did a write up a while back about them if you search. For the money you cant go wrong.
  5. Here is a pic of the key and where it should be bud.
  6. That junk is rated at 150F MAX. Its like leaving a water hose in the sun for a long time, goes really limp and eventually breaks. If you "need" clear hose, go with the real deal.
  7. You better believe it!!!
  8. Pretty sweet.
  9. Just get any kind like these, but not the copper gasket stuff. Light coating on both sides. http://www.jcwhitney.com/jcwhitney/product/images/large/G_28939G_CL_1.jpg http://common2.csnimages.com/lf/1/hash/4127/223017/1/High+Tack%99+Spray-A-Gasket%AE+Sealants.jpg Any auto parts store will have some. Get the small bottle.
  10. Ive never used them. I try and use OEM gaskets as much as i can. But i always spray my gaskets lightly both sides with gasket spray stuff. Then just to make sure theres no little leaks , do a leak down test quick if you have one or if you don't, check any gasket areas with soapy water in a spray bottle while the motor is running, spray it all over where theres gaskets or where air could get in also. If you see bubbles then its leakin.
  11. If there different thickness, it will throw the timing off a bit also.
  12. Good man. Back to a real fun bike. Good luck
  13. If your looking for squish clearance numbers, then somewhere between .042-052 ish is fine.
  14. God damn, that sounds like a shitty deal. Hope everything works out.

  16. HAHA, what did you do? I wondered where you went.
  17. I would at least put the upper right arm on the left and vise versa though. Then adjust your camber with the upper ball joints to stand the wheels up straight again.
  18. Your upper A-arms are upside down and on the wrong side man. But you will have to turn your ball joints around also. The ball joints go into the spindle from the top still though. Just the upper arms are upside down and on the wrong side. The bend in the upper arm goes to the back side towards the pipes.
  19. 10-15 bux tops, sometimes guys will do it for free. Takes about 5 seconds to do.
  20. Depends if your a fatty or not. It might be a little soft, but might be ok. I would try them and see what you think first!
  21. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/plugchop.html Theres quite a few threads on this here also. Also you dont "need" to do them, some people do some don't.
  22. Take it right apart. Cant be any rubber seals what so ever, when it goes in the oven.
  23. Ive never had mine come loose if its put together properly. But i always use a dab of blue lock tight. I use a pancake bearing also though.
