  1. I wouldn't mess around like that. Start testing the wires and make sure you regulator is fine . TEST TEST TEST Its only simple wiring man. Grab your self a cheap $15 multimeter and have at it.
  2. Call Matt himself about them. http://shearerpipes.com/contact.htm
  3. Yeah its sounds cool and all. But that would be VERY VERY expensive to do, getting the printing done is not cheap by any means what so ever. IMO, this is much better then any magazine could ever offer by far as its in real time. Quick replies to questions and everything you need to know and more about Banshees.
  4. Did you test or check out the wires going to it too maybe one broke and you just didn't see it yet? Also check to see if theres a messed up wire going to the voltage regulator also.
  5. I will share some
  6. Ok.
  7. Ive been happy with the RM coil for 3 years now. Nothing wrong with the stock one ether. http://www.rmstator.com/en/atv/yamaha/yfz_350_banshee/external_coil/(high_energy_race_coil)_external_coil_for__yfz_350_banshee_/all/5439.htm
  8. Theres already lots of 2 stroke fuel injection machines and motors around.
  9. I would throw on 39PWk's, billet basket, straight cuts, lock up, duneable over ride of your choice, MAX load / TZ bearings on the crank. Then for what ever fuel you want to run, you would have to decide on timing and dome choice first.
  10. You don't need that tool. All you need is an old shop rag. Bunch it up some and stick it between the gears on the back side of the basket. Hit the nut with an impact and the rag will hold it in place for the nut to come off. You can also use a penny between the gears also. Both work well and its not something new, mostly all people do it this way. Ive done it my self plenty of times on all sorts of stuff.
  11. 32mm every thing is metric on a shee.
  12. Is that a complete list of your mods in your sig? If so i would say too big for where you ride mostly. Get some 28-30's and have fun.
  13. Here bro. Go down to Question #26 and have a lil read. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html Between 20-22 is what you want.
  14. No he means he agrees with the .030.
  15. Elijah has some for real cheap in good condition, bolt on and go. No worries buying from him what so ever. Give him a shout. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=127856
  16. DAMN STRAIGHT Jeff. If you dont wanna be last... get F.A.S.T!!!! nuff said. Got jeffroids anyone Good vids and pics by the way people.
  17. Like said above, i would check and see if your floats in both carbs are set between 20-22mm. Then if so, move onto the needle/seat. You can read about it here. takes 15 mins or so to adjust your floats your first time..near the bottom of this link http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html About your idle, do you still have your TORS on top of the carbs? (Big funky mofos gray things on top of the carbs) If so, then you will see a big knob with a slot in the top on top of the TORS. Turn them clockwise to raise idle and counter clock wise to lower it. Do both EXACTLY the same. Start with a 1/4 turn on both (counterclockwise)...ride it around for a minute or two and see how it idles, and if you want the idle a bit lower do another 1/4 turn on both the same.. If you have no TORS, well then the idle screws are on the side of the carbs, do the same as what i said above when turning them to adjust the idle. Here are stock carbs with NO T.O.R.S>>> http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/savage_420/Bansheecarb01.jpg Here are stock carbs WITH T.O.R.S>>> http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c164/savage_420/Carbsandreedsforsale001.jpg Let us know whats up man!!
  18. Honestly, YOU need to know what the jetting is, mains, pilots and needle and the position they are in. + list your mods and temp and elevation. To me you sound lean on your top end. Could have a small leak also. Did they or you do a leak down test? But i have really no idea because YOU didn't list ANYTHING. But back firing "usually" means lean. Your shop might not have taken your bike out and ripped it around to jet it in the "field". You need to jet it according to your mods temp and elevation. It takes a few minutes for you to do out where you ride. With help here, you will have NO problems. Do a plug chop also. http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/plugchop.html Read this twice http://www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html Also go through lots of people setups here also http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361
  19. Yeah, you can, but when you put it all back together make sure to adjust it properly so the clutch with engage and disengage properly. Check all that before you put the cover back on so it works properly. You can fine adjust that up and the clutch lever adjuster also bro. But get the adjust on the pressure plate good and set first.
